Donut Palace — Restaurant in Garland

I came there with my pre K son before school at 8:02 am and waited in line until my turn at 8:04am. I was in front of the line but kept being ignored event thought there were 4-5 people working there at the time. I thought they were all being busy so I waited patiently for another 3 minutes hoping they would serve me next but instead they serve the gentleman who were behind me.

No one even recognize my present despite the fact that I was right in front of them asking for the donut the whole time so after the incident, I begged louder for their help. They acted like they didn’t know I was there waiting but finally get my son a donut ( thanks God). My little one ended up being late for school just because of their “wonderful” customer service.

Would definitely buy...

Disappointed in this place now. Used to love to come here. Staff was so friendly. The last 2 times I have come, around 10 or 10:30 [they close at Noon] they have no glazed donuts or donut holes. Absolutely ridiculous!!

I asked the unfriendly young girl if they got to go home early if they ran out of donuts. She said 'Yes.' That explains everything in a nutshell why they prepared less than they need.

If the Vietnamese woman still owns this, I apologize. Before, when I asked where she was, the staff said she was out of the country. Now when I ask, the staff doesn't know anything. The place may be under new management. If so, that's sad.

I surveyed about 12 different donut shops in the surrounding area, and Donut Palace is hands down the best option. Every product is fresh and delicious every day, the breakfast croissants come in a variety and are quite filling. Fruit based products are exceptionally fruity. Staff is friendly and proficient at processing their high volume customer base. Lots of flavor variety on their decorative options and I often see younger kids excited for their designs. Holes always go quick so go early if you want a wide selection. Eat here at least once a week and am never bored of...
