Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Garland

The customer service at this location is very poor. A couple of the ldaies that work the daytime at the window and the front register are not friendly. They never smile or say anything to you She walks up and stands there waiting never says may i take your order so you know she is ready. I have learned that when she walks up just give my order. They do not answer this phone at all at this location. I have tried to call a couple of times because when I get back to the office I am missing a taco or a burrito. May I collect it later this week and no answer then the line cuts off. different times of the early afternoon too. Then they are very light with ingredients for the price. You get mostly shell one small scoop of everything else. I honestly do not see how they stay in business. If they were better and better deals for teachers they would be able to gain much more business due to the amount of district people we have right behind them and all the meetings people as for food references for lunch. If I were to have written this review last week, I would have said that this TB location was the best location ever. The food was prepared with care & tasted delectably fresh. I just had to return today to experience the great food this place offers. Boy, was I wrong!

Let's start with the drinks. The drinks were flat! No matter what drinks we chose, they were awful. (Duh, right?) Of course, since we couldn't drink it, my fiance had to go to the gas station to grab drinks for us. Thankfully it was nearby so we are our meal within 10 minutes.

Now, we get to the food. (It was 3 of us, my father, my fiance, and myself) We order 2 muchaco plates, 1 chicken quesadilla, & a side of beans. The muchaco shells were tough like they were sitting out since Friday. They didn't add the guacamole & sour cream to the plate either. The beans tasted burnt, & the chicken quesadilla was incredibly soggy. The overall experience was bad.

I can't believe I spent almost $30 on flat drinks & inedible food. I understand it's fast food, but this was unacceptable. I definitely won't be returning. Not that it matters to...

UPDATE: I have been calling for an hour straight and the line has been busy the whole time. I’m pretty sure it is off the hook or doesn’t work.

ORIGINAL: The service has gone down hill over the past several months. I keep thinking “they’re just busy” “or it’s a new employee” but it happens too often. The lady who takes the orders through the drive through has a problem understanding what we order and they get it wrong every time.

I looked up on the website and told my daughter what to order for me. When she tried they said they don’t have fajita beef as a choice on their quesadillas although the website clearly says they do. She ordered three kinds of salsa and they gave her only the regular one. She tried to order a flavored Fanta that’s on their drive through sign and was told no they didn’t have any of the three flavors she asked for.
