First visit. We went at 7pm on a Saturday and they close at 9:30. There were many empty tables. Dated but still nicely decorated. Food was flavorful. All the meats, soups, dessert were good but the rice and lo mein were room temperature. Not sure why or how since everything else was hot. They came around and picked up our dirty plates quickly. However, poor service and atmosphere the poor service created were more than sub par. There were staff full blown sweeping where the food was and in the dining area. They weren’t picking up large debris. They were vigorously sweeping and in the dining area there’s carpet. This was unnecessary and unsanitary. Another staff person was refilling soy bottles and sugar packets and kept interrupting us to help her reach across and give them ours for her to refill, which we didn’t ask for or need. One lady slammed the receipt down on our table after we were there for 30 minutes or so. Price was ~ $14.25 per person without a drink. While the food was good and restrooms were clean, I cannot recommend this location due to the awful service and terrible vibes from the staff on this visit. Also, their “do not waste food” sign is not appropriate. There are some foods that may not be seasoned or flavored to someone’s liking so the fact that they don’t eat it is justified and not wasting food. I have been to different Oriental restaurants in Michigan from Bay City ,to Saginaw ,Michigan ,Lansing Michigan .

Let me tell you this restaurant Jade Buffet is by far the best place to enjoy eating Oriental, restaurant to eat out at . The service and the food are the best !!!! Plenty to choose from to eat from main course to deserts .

My favorite Spicy General Tso ( Joe) chicken and The long string beans ,cooked with minced garlic ,and olive 🫒 oil .

Everything's delicious at this place !!! The excellence and perfection of this oriental food is what's needed all around Michigan!!!

Traveled into Gaylord just to try the Oriental food at this place . Let me tell you I was more than satisfied ! I will be back before I move into a different part of Michigan ..
