If I could give this location less than I one star I would.
I want to start off by saying I LOVE Jimmy John’s, I order a few times weekly. As well as, for employee work events.
Today I wanted to try and intended to 5 star chicken Cajun sandwich. Unfortunately I have an allergy sensitivity to jalapeños, So that was the only thing I removed. It came loaded with jalapeños, Which is an easy mistake. I’m sure they’re shuffling out a ton of the sandwiches due to the promo.
When I called to pick up a new sandwich and or get a refund, I was rudely screamed at by an employee that was not a manager communicating to the manager who I could hear in the background who is just as rude.
The ignorance of the employee, Suggested they would come pick up the sandwich and then they would refund me. My understanding is a disbelief in my statement, that they didn’t have jalapeños on the sandwich. He also educated me that there’s two types of jalapeños, and that was my fault for not understanding that. I understood the difference in the jalapeños, one of which I can’t tolerate in one of which I cannot.
He said that’s our only option and Violently smashed the phone hanging up on me. When I called back, Before he even said hello, he said the money Already refunded, and there was nothing to talk about. CLICK.
The gentleman gave me his phone number to which he wanted me to send a picture, confirming this large stack of crispy jalapeños with a receipt.
Honestly, I’m not mad at Jimmy John’s a whole however, this Batavia location is absolutely horrendous and after reading the reviews and only confirms the Ignorant staff they have in there. They definitely need to go through a restaffing, And at least educate these folks on Miscommunication situations as well as day-to-day communications, because clearly he Absolutely no idea what to do, Got overwhelmed, and was rude to me for absolutely no reason.

Read moreIf I could leave a zero I would. Management is horrible thinks that by yelling over the phone he could fix the issues of sending the wrong sandwich. I called to let them know that one of the sandwiches were wrong it didn't have all the ingredients that were needed. He started yelling right off the bat stating that he made the sandwiches personally and he knows he made them the correct way. I continue to try to tell him that the sandwich was not made correctly I could send them a picture or once it was picked up he could see for himself that not all the ingredients were added on there correctly. He was trying to make it right by sending new sandwiches stating that he was going to make them exactly how I had sent in the order via web. I called back to try and add cheese to one of the sandwiches he started yelling at his employee and came on the phone and started yelling at me stating that he has to run a business and that he has to charge for the cheese even though it was made in correctly. I would've been fine paying the fee for the cheese which was $1.19 but the way that he was going about things made me cancel the whole order. I had to drive myself over to their facility to get my full refund of my money back. I'm not sure how the employees work with this type of management I wouldn't be OK with someone yelling at me the way they he yelled at his employees and the way that he served his customers. I run a business myself and there's no way I would ever treat my customers or employees this way. Never again ordering from this facility. I'd rather make the drive to pick up in Geneva Commons than deal with...
Read moreMy husband picked up dinner from there. When he got home and we opened our sandwiches, my 6 yr old started crying because they put mayo on hers, and my husband repeatedly said no mayo. I called and Manager admitted that he saw the employee add mayo. I asked for a refund of that sandwich and he said no because it was against his policy. They said I could go back and get a new one. I did not want to go back but because my child was crying, I went there to get the new one. While waiting there, the manager was rudely pointing at the "all sandwhiches come with mayo" sign, and I stated that my husband asked for no mayo and he even admitted that he knew that. I asked if they could remake my sandwhich as well, because by the time I got home, the bread would be soggy. He said only if i brought it with me. I wasn't even thinking of me at the time. I was trying to accommodate my child. Why did he not say that about the other sandwhich??? I asked him to reimburse the sandwich I went there to pick up because it was my gas and my dinner time with my family that was now interrupted, because he wouldn't just reimburse my money from the beginning. He said no because he already made another one (which was already made and sitting there. God only knows what he did to it.) I asked for my money back and left the sandwich there, and said i would rather take my business elsewhere. He responded with a rude, sarcastic tone "that sounds like great news to me".
