Rollin Local — Restaurant in Georgetown

We recently visited rolling local and love the food!! Unfortunately the hostess was incredibly rude. As I was waiting to leave my name a lady walked up right from behind me put her name in, the hostess completely disregarded me. Finally when our table was available, I was waiting in line to let the hostess know we were ready to be seated, the same lady came form behind, cutting my party again, the hostess disregarded me and seated that lady. Twice, I was cut and disregarded even when my party said “I’m sorry we were here first”. Hostess gave us a dirty look and continued to take care of her. Then we were told an hour wait for four, which we wound up gaining a guest and asked if we could just have an extra chair. The hostess rudely said we have a table for four or you can wait two hours for a table for five. Another waitress came over and said I have an outside table if needed for five. The hostess still wouldn’t help us out, she continues to say we have a table for four or you can wait two hours. Very cold and rude. We then said we will take the outside table if possible, hearing what the waitress said. I will never come visit the restaurant again, if that is the person representing your restaurant. She also said an hour wait which was 45 minutes and I’m sure she was turning people away purposefully telling them two hours, we watched and people were being seated. Completely...

I'm really disappointed with this visit. I'm not new to this place, but it's been a little while, so I brought a family member who has never been here before. I was excited for her to experience Rollin Local and the choice to dine outside. Needless to say, I don't believe she'll come back, and I'm on the fence about returning too. We waited over 10 minutes for service after sitting down outside. I had to go inside and request service. I should have left immediately, but I love the food and Mimosas. When our server finally arrived, she told us that no one told her that our table was hers, but she was very courteous and friendly. She spilled my 1st mimosa over our table, bless her heart, but no one was hurt...maybe egos, lol. She immediately went and got me another. No one came out to assist us (the paying customers) with the cleanup... highly disappointed. Nevertheless, the food was just how I remembered it, delicious. My mimosas hit perfectly, and we actually had a great time...but service really sucked....and that's not a good look on introducing new patrons to Rollin Local. To the young waitress, you did...

If I could rate today's experience as a zero I would. Long-time customer here. For the first time, in a very long time came in this evening was only two customers outside and two customers inside it was 4:30. Me and my husband were seated and the girl never came back. 18minutes went by, we got up to leave as we're walking out the door the table to the left(near the bar)she was sitting at the table with six people talking and texting which is a very rare occasion at this restaurant because they are always so slammed. Told her we were leaving because she never came back to get our order and she just said oh and all the people sitting at the table(her co-workers) just looked at us. And we walked out no apology No nothing.. again I've never seen them sitting and talking like that because this place is too busy. Not slamming the Food service industry because it was my first job as a teen. This is not the place I remember.🤷🏽‍♀ I know some locals that will be very upset at this post but this was a one-off.
