American Deli — Restaurant in Georgia

Horrible customer service! I work right next door and my co-workers when I eat here a lot, but today my sandwich was all wrong I had to ask for my fries and I had to ask for my celery... I didn't notice until I got back to work that my sandwich was wrong so I called them and they told me if I brought it back they could remake it however I only have a 30 minute lunch. So I bring it back after work and the guy tells me that he can refund me for the sandwich in the fry but since I ate the five wings out of it he can't refund me for the wings. I said you can remake it I don't care. He said I can do that but I can only remake the sandwich and the fries not the wings... I mean come on really all five of them! You would think they would replace the five wings for the hassle! Also I'm glad I kept my receipt because when I called I was told just to bring the food back but when I walked in there he said we have to have the food and the receipt! I will not be eating here anymore and I'm going to tell my co-workers all about it so they don't! The only reason I gave it to stars is because in the past the food has been pretty good although I have had other orders where I ordered extra celery and things like that and...

This restaurant is one of the top 2 eating experiences i’ve ever had in my life. And let me tell you it ain’t two. As soon as I walk in I’m greeted with a smile from all the employees and it’s a tiny quality that I have never once taken for granted. And they have extremely cool cashiers named that I genuinely don’t think i could go without they make the experience. But onto the food it’s simply next level, I may venture to say it’s otherworldly. I usually get the buffalo wings and they have never been anything aside from flawless. The wings have a crisp crunch on the outside but as my teeth proceed to impale the chicken my tongue receives the juiciness of the meat flowing out like the nile river. Not to mention the fries…. It tastes like the potatoes came straight from the farms of Idaho and the salt came straight from the baltic sea my tastebuds became so infatuated with the experience that I can genuinely taste locations. I normally go to the American Deli on Broad Street because I like their food but not their location. Today, I decided to try the newest location in Athens. For one, I wanted a combo with no drink. No where on the receipt was their any money deducted for the drink. Broad Street's location usually takes off 50 cents. Next, after I ordered the combo the cashier immediately was telling me the total. If she would've taken the time to ask me if I wanted to order anything else I would've actually ordered a Shrimp Fried Rice. Since she didn't ask I ended up going to another restaurant and getting some fried rice. Finally, now that I have tasted the food I know that I will just stick with the Broad Street location. The teryaki wings didn't taste as good as the ones there (the sauce tasted different) and the beef philly was salty. I guess the cook put too much salt. I don't mind giving any restaurant a try....
