Great restaurant! As a Buffalo native, I have to admit, this Anchor Bar location tops all the rest back home in 716. Staff was friendly and nice to converse with, the food was great, and the vibe was true to the original location in the heart of Buffalo! We ordered the split which get's you a beef on weck and chicken wings, the best option on the menu. Unfortunately they were out of the coveted Pizza Logs however I'll be going back soon to make sure those are legit! Labatt and Molsen are also great options for beer while you're here and make sure you/your kids get the Loganberry! The only thing that would make this place better is to have more WNY beer availability. There are so many good breweries in WNY, I know everyone down here would thoroughly enjoy some Big Ditch, EBC, Hamburg, 12 Gates, Southern Tier, Resurgence or Flying Bison beers either on tap or even in cans. Get some WNY beers in here and you've got a grand slam option for dining! 2021-09: update I’ve now been here a good number of time since opening. Here’s a better update. The pizza logs are still great, they’re a must have for anyone!!! The wings however, have been very hit or Miss on both wing size and prep. You can’t always control what you buy however the prep, cook time, temp, texture, all controllable. And they’ve been all over the map. The Buffalo sauce too, sometimes medium is mild, sometimes it’s been a little hit, while others it’s just right. Hit or miss. $10 for the Anchor Dip or the fried cauliflower is a bit much. The dip is very small, just enough for 2 people to share. The cauliflower didn’t have any crunch, it’s batter red and deep fried, but no crunch! Would have been great if properly prepared however still too small on the portion for what you’re paying for. Service too, not so great. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to ask for water, side plates or even silverware. To me, if these are not an A+ without asking, there is service issues. The only other issue is on game days, GET RID OF THE DJ!!!! Or have him play music at AN APPROPRIATE VOLUME LEVEL. And the stupid train horn, give it up man, it’s not going to catch on. Again, at a reasonable volume, so whatever amuses you. But after having watched 4-5 games here on Sundays, everyone around me, not even just my group, is flat out sick of the DJ.

The first time we found this place, we were super impressed! We came back with relatives so they could try the food here and they loved it. We've also ordered from here and the food was just as good. We held this place in high regard at one time. Unfortunately, we had the worst take out experience since relocating to this area. Our pizza was burnt, the chicken wasn't seasoned like in the past, it had frozen blood on the chicken (which indicates it was frozen and not fresh). ALL the pepperoni on the pizza was burnt and dried hard, the dough on the pizza seemed as if was left out all day. I called the restaurant to make them aware and let them know how shocked we were to receive poor quality food. I also explained that you can just look at the food and tell it was not good by visual inspection. How did the food go out with such poor quality without visually inspecting? The chicken had feathers in it (in the picture). She explained she just got to the restaurant (which was at 6PM). She offered two options: 1.) refund or 2.) remake. We opted for a refund after tasting the food and loosing our appetite. She let us know the GM would have to make decision the next day. She didn't take a name, number or other information so we can receive a return phone call. Also, she didn't even offer a simple apology :| C'mon we just spent 100 dollars on fast food and would expect common etiquette. Our perspective: This place has took a turn for the worst! We threw are food away.

As another location of the original where Buffalo wings were invented, I was very excited to give them a try since I don't see myself making my way up to Buffalo, NY anytime soon. We picked a table outside and while it was facing a road there was a pleasant breeze and shaded. The road noise didn't interfere with our dining experience at all. We're the wings the best wings I've ever had? No but they were cooked perfectly and the sauce was what I expected. The onion rings appeared to have a beer batter and the sauce that came with them was delicious. The real star of the visit was the chicken tenders. We got them lemon pepper flavor and it was the perfect amount of seasoning for the huge tenders. The tenders themselves were so juicy and crispy that I would 10/10 get them again. The sweet potato fries that we subbed were alright, a bit too mushy on the inside despite the slight crisp on the outside. Service was great. Our server came to check on us several times during our visit despite us being outside and potentially easily forgotten. Come here to try the original Buffalo wings but definitely get the chicken tenders and the onion rings.

Anchor bar in Buffalo is where Buffalo wings were invented and this place is a franchise. Which is very cool having something like that in Kennesaw Is definitely an attraction. The wings were good but not mind blowing I got to hot wings, the Cajun tenders were alright too. The hot wings are good but since they are original the hype was real The chicken was good quality just the flavors were lacking especially the Cajun. I will for sure return and try other flavors. The tots and fries were what you would expect. Nothing to complain there. They have a good selection of sauces but nothing compared to the amount they have at Bdubs. The wings do not come with fries need to order that on the side. They have events at the bar and they are open late. The three star is for the sauce mainly. The bar area is big with a lot of room to spread out and the service was great the owners came and greeted us.
