Neida and Jose were very nice and as helpful as they had been trained. My wife is a life long Celiac patient and Juvenile Type 1 Diabetic and I am a 30 year Late Adult Onset Type 1 Diabetic in Heart Failure and missing 4 arteries. Yeh. Anyone who is Type 1 or 2 Diabetic has a wheat allergy that causes several problems including massively increased blood sugars. So, when I eat bread I know to take more insulin. Before and after marriage We were both regular patrons of TDC at Windy Hill and Buckhead (4-5 nights a week) sitting around with friends and talking and sharing and meeting other people. When TDC originally opened a TDC in Kennesaw we went a few times but it was VERY Poorly managed and unlike our years of experience at Windy Hill and Buckhead. This one was filled with TV’s cranked to the limit so talking was impossible and it hurt our ears. We did not go to TDC for a Loud Mouthed Sports bar. We just dropped TDC. We were excited to see you back today. Once we finally got past the gluten issue and found something for my wife we placed an order. Immediately upon beginning to eat our food we both knew this HAD to be a franchise store. We did not know you did that and that is an unfortunate decision. The small amount of meat and onions on my Steak and cheese was very dry and burned to hell and there was NO cheese. I have pictures for Google, Trip Advisor and Yelp. The to die for Squash casserole is definitely no longer “to die for”. It used to be made with American cheese. Did you change to sharp cheddar? Nasty. It was undesirably super sweet and I detected no onions or panko. I use the original recipe at home and use gluten free panko crumbs. You might consider this and go back to the original recipe. The chili cheese fries for my wife were tolerable but we suggest you go to several Texas chili cook off’s and get a new recipe. Oh, and this is NOT the original TDC recipe either. Are you guys raising prices and reducing the quality of your ingredients? We have to purple pen you and not recommend you to others but discourage the trip even with your coupons.

Read moreOverall: Disappointing Experience with Poor Service and Terrible Food
My husband and I recently dined at the Three Dollar Cafe in Kennesaw and unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences we have had in a long time.
First, the service was shockingly bad. We understood that our server was training a new hire at this time but they were inattentive and seemed disinterested in providing even basic service. There was only one other customer in the restaurant at this time and many tables were not cleaned either.
Second, the food was terrible. We ordered 20 wings, 2 sides and 2 sodas and the flavor of the wings were very off. We both thought it was strange that our lemon pepper wings tasted weird so we tried a few other ones hoping it was just a one off but it sadly wasn't. The flavor tasted very sour and just not how lemon pepper wings should taste.
To make matters worse, when we expressed our concerns, the staff seemed indifferent and offered no apology or solution. She stated that their lemon pepper is not a dry rub but it is a wet seasoning. That was not our issue.. our issue was that it tasted off. Our servers went to the manager and my husband and I could hear all of them in the kitchen laughing about our concerns...We left thoroughly disappointed and with so many other options in the area, we certainly will not be returning to the Three Dollar Cafe in Kennesaw anytime soon.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for decent wings in Kennesaw. Our total bill was over $50 and we were shocked... We could have went to Zaxby's and gotten better service and food! There are far better places to spend your money and time.
Sidenote: I mentioned our experience to colleagues back at the office and they were not shocked at all. They also experienced similar issues during their visit and mentioned how terrible...
Read moreI've debated on saying anything at all because I'm sure it won't do any good. Myself and a friend went and got some food. I've been coming here for 5+ years now and have really enjoyed it for the most part. I've struggle to get consistent wings for some time now. I ordered my food and thought that it was coming out a little to quick and the bartender(Kelcie) sent it back under the warmers. When that happened it was in the middle of a shift change. I asked to speak with the manager(Julian). When he came out I explained to him what had happened and he apologized and we pretty much left it at that. Shortly after that Kelcie approached me with attitude about the whole situation. Turns out I was 100% wrong in that situation. After she left I asked to speak with Julian again. He came out and told me that he gave her permission to come out to say something to me. Why would you allow your servers/bartenders to approach a customer in front of the rest of the bar which was full of customers and basically belittled me. Last Friday I had also reserved a spot to bring in 12-14 people for a fantasy football draft. Let's just say that won't be happening now. It's a shame that this happened the way it did because I will not be back!!!! Caitlin and Kelly, thank you for the several years that you have been taking care of me and my friends. Yall have been amazing. Kelcie you have also been great as well bit that situation could have been handled better all the way around. Good luck to the new owners. I hope yall find better...
