DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Kennesaw

My son and I visited the Kennesaw, Ga store. He is 13 years old, over 6ft tall and wears a size 16 shoe. We walked in expecting only to purchase a pair of socks.That is all we were looking for when the sales associate, Wendy, greeted us. She helped us find socks that will actually fit his feet. THEN she helped my son find some jeans! Seriously, he has only worn athletic pants for 4 years because his thighs are massive, yes he plays football, lol. At any rate, we purchased a pair of jeans and a pack of socks, left...and returned before we left the parking lot. Jacob decided he needed a shirt and shoes as well. I have to tell you that we LOVED Wendy!!! She was so helpful and nice. I know her job is to sell but she went above and beyond and we are so grateful. I have to add that I went in expecting to spend less than $30 but ended up spending close to $200 and I've never been so pleased! Destination XL is now officially my son's favorite store! My husband is 6'7" and there are not alot of places we can go to find the right clothes for him so when we visit DXL that advertises big and TALL, we expect to find clothes to fit him - unfortunately this is only sometimes the case. The customer service can definitely use improvement. They don't even know their own inventory. It's a shame that I can go in the store and find 36 and 38 inseam, after they tell me that they don't have any jeans that long.. If I listened to them, I would have left with purchasing anything. Also, what is the deal with the coupons? I receive at least 30 emails in a month (coupons), when I attempt to redeem them, I get told that the coupon expired. But it could have expired the day before.. UGH! I wish someone would open a store specifically designed for TALL...
