My family and I visited this location on 4/8/2021. Upon arrival we opted to sit at the bar (worst mistake ever) I don’t know the bartender name because she refused to provide it (she’s black, medium built and looks around 23 years old) she was VERY rude from the start. She worked very slow and provided poor customer service. After repeatedly asking to be served she stated it’s only one of her and that she is busy she will get to us. Her attitude was horrible only to find out after asking to speak to the manager she was happy to get him because she stated that was “her man” so a black guy came out he refused to give his name along with Hailey I assume she is also a manager. After telling them our food was ice cold and we’ve been sitting at the bar for an hour and the bartender refused to service us they went to the back to call the police. They LIED to the police telling them that we said we weren’t going to pay for our bill which we never did and at that point we haven’t even received our full orders. We only had received our appetizers which was cold. Upon the police arriving they TRIED to bully us into paying for food that we DID NOT even receive. Because I was previously law enforcement I knew my rights and I did not pay for it. Hailey told MULTIPLE lies stating that on the menu it states that all alcohol sales are final although I never received it I still have to pay because I ordered it. After going back and forth with the officers which were clearly on their side they decided to leave me alone after threatening to call the his supervisor (Officer Joliet) he also refused to provide his badge number because they know they were in the wrong. After 5 minutes of Hailey looking for the menu that DID NOT EXIST to show me where it states all sales are final she came back and lied to the officers that they just got new menus so it’s not on there nor could she find it in writing. Clearly she was telling a lie BUT they all were white the officer was as well and he clearly showed a lot of signs for not caring for blacks. Because they couldn’t force me to pay for something I never received nor could she provide anything in black and white they decided to tell me I couldn’t return to this location. Which I never would after sitting at the bar seeing roaches and watching the bartender make multiple drinks using the same cup and not washing it out. I was forced to give a 1 star but they deserve 0 stars. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone I would recommend the Duluth location! The service and food is ALWAYS great and never had any problems at that location. I visit at least 3-4...
Read moreLike any New place to eat I was curious as to what this place was about - My wife LOVES Crab so off we went this past Saturday Eve to "Check-It-Out", My Wife, Our Daughter, and I. Saturday at around 7:00 PM, I expected it to be a bit busy - The place was packed - 40-45 Minute wait. I took advantage of this by striking up a few conversations with folks that had visited here before - Everything was Positive - One young lady even made some recommendations from the Menu - I mean, why would you wait going on an hour for Mediocre Food? After about 25-30 minutes we were seated - Stodgy was serving us and he was an Outstanding Young Man, very attentive, and he even laughed at my Corny Dad Jokes. For it being as busy as it was the food came out in a reasonable amount of time and this is where our story really begins. Jason, the Manager, was the one who delivered our food, shook up the Bag with all of the Cajun Goodness inside then opened it up for us to enjoy. I played it safe and ordered the Catfish Platter, When it comes to Food, my expectations are high and I am picky - Knowing my Wife would throw me a bite now and then, I could test it while eating something that even if it wasn't that good, I would not be that disappointed - I Guarantee you the next time we go, I will NOT be ordering the Catfish Platter, not that it wasn't good, it was - BUT, the Crab was so amazing - I mean, Impressive. I read a review that said "Your hands will become a Delicious Mess" - This is putting it mildly - Though gloves come as part of the servings, my Wife went in Bare-Knuckled and Deep - Lol and She--Had--A--Blast. So did our Daughter Jo. Yes, not only was the Food Off-The-Chain, it was a very enjoyable experience. Don't be in a hurry if you decide to eat here because this feast takes a while to consume. And the name 'Juicy Crab' is Perfect. Jason even brought me some Sauce-to-go to add to my next batch of Chili which I will be making next Weekend for the Daytona 500 (My Super-Bowl). (Get the All-In Deal I think it's called - Where All of the Sauces are combined - Absolutely Delicious). I must admit I am not one to do Reviews, but this place is so Deserving, I had to let it be known. Everything was awesome, the Service, Jason and Stodgy, the Food. Some may think it's a little "Pricey", but when you consider the amount of food you get, the Experience of just relaxing and having fun while you dine - Worth every penny. Before I forget - WEAR THE BIB because it IS a Delicious Mess - We will be coming here often, and next time Jason, (If you read this), we're bringing...
Read moreOmg!!!! This is my first trip to Georgia. As with any place I travel to, I'm always on the hunt for blue crabs. My aunt tells me about this place. I pictured it being some type of mediocre mom and pop establishment where you would just drop by and pick up a quick order and keep it moving. I discovered that it was much more. When my husband, son , and I entered the place the place was filled and no one greeted us. We had to figure out on our own that there were two lines. One for take out orders and one to be seated. We needed a table for five since we were waiting for two others. Even though I've encountered more enthusiastic employees at the publix supermarket, they didn't have nasty attitudes. The wait time to be seated was not long at all. The place was clean and had a very relaxing feel to it. I felt very comfortable. Once we were seated, our waitress Gabby came over immediately to introduce herself and take our drink orders while we wait for the others. She was so pleasant and patient with us and my million of questions as I have the annoying habit of trying to create a special type of order that the restaurant does not offer. Thank Goodness this place had exactly what I wanted. Anyway, once the others arrived, she took our orders. I ordered a dozen blue crabs with the hot juicy sauce. My son had three snow crab clusters with corn and potatoes with hot juicy sauce. My husband had shrimp and mussels with corn and potatoes in mild garlic sauce. Someone also ordered the lobster and shrimp, and the wings. Everything came quickly, hot, and fresh. The taste of that juicy sauce is awesome!!! Gabby came to check on us constantly even though the place was pretty crowded. Always refilling our drinks and holding conversations with us like we were friends of hers. We ended up getting a call from two more friends who dropped in and she promptly made room for them at our table. When we finally finished everyone was definitely satisfied with the food and service. We will definitely return each time we visit Georgia. We will also always request Gabby as long as she is employed there. Her customer service skills are impeccable and in my opinion, she should definitely try to further her education to become general manager or higher of an establishment!!! I do apologize for the long review but this place is...
