Read moreThis is a hidden gem of a place if you are into middle eastern breakfast pies. The food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. We ordered 2 black teas, veggie plate, hummus dip appetizer, a meat pie, maharaja with cheese pie, and half zaatar, half cheese pie. The hummus was fresh and perfectly seasoned with lemon and olive oil. The portion was huge and could easily feed 4 people.
The pies were delicious and tasty. I would like the crust a bit more crispy but the flavor of the ingredients were spot on. My favorite was the muhamara. Omg! The best. Next time will order it without cheese to experience just the burst of tomato and pepper flavor on its own.
Highly recommend and so worth the hour drive for us. The service was spectacular and very welcoming. We paid about $40 with tip for all that food which we could not finish.
My recommendation the tea service should be more Turkish style instead of a tea bag. But did I mention the food was amazing! Must try and will be...
Read moreI recently tried freshly baked pita bread, and it was an absolute delight! The texture was wonderfully fluffy, with just the right amount of chewiness. The bread puffed up beautifully in the oven, creating perfect pockets that were ideal for stuffing with various fillings. What impressed me most was the knafeh flavor—warmth from the oven. I enjoyed it warm, straight from the oven,
The hummus and fresh veggies, and it elevated the whole meal. The bread had a delightful softness on the inside while maintaining a slightly crispy exterior. Overall, this homemade pita bread zaatar is a must-try! It's not only delicious but also an easy addition to Mediterranean meals or a fun way to enjoy. I can confidently say that it's a staple I'll be...
