Customer Service — Rude, Unprofessional, and Dismissive
I placed an online order from Bruster’s (Cascade Rd location) a full week in advance for pickup today at 12:00 PM, as shown on my receipt (Order #: 954950). I was supposed to receive a text when the order was ready—I never received any notification.
After waiting hours, I called the store multiple times. When someone finally answered, a woman picked up and was extremely rude from the start. She raised her voice, questioning why I would place an order a week in advance and told me never to do that again. I explained that my birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to be prepared, but she didn’t care.
When I asked for a refund, she shouted, “I can’t refund nothing—I don’t have the receipt!” despite the fact that I had the receipt and order confirmation right in front of me. She then demanded that I call corporate and abruptly hung up on me.
This was an unacceptable experience. I felt disrespected, dismissed, and yelled at simply for trying to pick up my prepaid order. I will be contacting Bruster’s corporate office to formally report this incident. This location needs to be retrained on basic professionalism and...
Read moreI have been here before, and the service has always been great. I always ordered sour apple sherbert/ice, and the occasional regular ice cream. Tonight, I ordered a pint of lime and sour apple sherbert mixed. I just about got 90% OLD sour apple and 10% of normal looking lime sherbert/ice. The sour apple not only tasted like it had freezer burn, but it had bits and pieces if discoloration where chunks were much lighter and and much SLIMIER than the rest. I figured something was wrong when my server kept scooping sour apple, but I usually don't mind. THIS TIME I DID. Hopefully this review will be seen because it was a pretty sneaky trick to try to get rid of the old sour spple by putting a lot of it in my cup and covering it with a tiny bit of lime. Smart. Read more3/14/21. I stood in line 15 minutes to order..no problem. It was 7:15pm Sunday 3/14/21. I ordered at 7:30pm..i noticed people placing orders after me were getting their ice cream within a few minutes. I waited an additional 30 minutes before I received 2 quarts of vanilla ice cream. There were 3 or 4 girls working . They were just having the time of their lives..listening to music with profanity and joking amongst themselves while the line extended off the sidewalk and in to the parking area a few feet from the curb.
