This place reminds me a lot of my ex at first it was great then a little bit later down the line it just all went down hill. I’m not one to really write reviews but I’m writing this cause I’m pretty disappointed with how my dinner went tonight...like my ex there were many red flags that I chose to ignore. Just pulling into the parking lot, everything was full and I had to drive a lap to find a spot ( I see the parking lot is full, and I fully understood they were gonna be busy on their all you can eat wing night and chose to continue to eat there.like in Indiana Jones, the knight who tells you weather you turn to dust from drinking from the wrong chalice, I chose poorly) waited about 10 minutes to be seated which isn’t bad that’s whatever. We ordered our drinks (sweet tea) which tasted like if someone got already used tea bags and dumped them into ice cold water for about 4 and three quarter seconds and then salt bae’d sugar with only maybe 2 grains of sugar actually getting in.(again “you chose...poorly.)as soon as she came back we were ready to order since we went for the all you can eat wings.she informed us the bone in wings were unavailable (I kinda get it she herself didn’t explain why but I over heard their truck was delayed so no big deal) so all they had was “boneless wings” which is just a chicken tiddy cut into bite sized pieces and breaded then fried, but like I said that wasn’t the part I was upset about it took about 20 minutes to get our FIRST and LAST order of “wings”(which is 10 “wings on the first order then like six or something per order after, I would be able to give you guys a more solid answer if I ever got another order) I had finished mine and my wife was still working on hers when our waitress finally came up and asked us if we wanted to order the next round so we did and we waited....and waited...then FINALLY....we waited some more...it had been 30 minutes our waitress brought out food to other tables, took their orders and and brought them out the food that they just ordered ,but we waited and every time we made eye contract she would look down and speed walk away like like she saw me naked. so the table behind me was all finished and she went and brought their check and happened to walk past and finally spoke to us like when you run into someone you knew in high school and the interaction is just awkward like “how’s life been after school?” Or “it was nice seeing you again!” Knowing damn well you didn’t even remember their name. She wait to us “hey are you guys doing okay? I know it’s taking a while” and at that point my wife was a lot a bit upset and just said “should we just get the check because we’ve been waiting for 30 minutes.” And I get it a little rash I understand it’s not her fault but all she said was “hold on” and left came back a minute later and said did you guys wanna re bash orrr-“ then a guy came with wings....that wasn’t even ours. So I said “yeah I’ll just take the check” so she said okay then I watched her scurry around to try to find something like she lost her child in Walmart then a guy with glasses comes up )which who I assumed was the manager) and said “sorry our patio is full and we had to cut more chicken for the wings” which okay I get it they were busy had to cut chicken tiddies whatever but instead of further apologizing or making any further excuses he just goes “so do you guys wanna re bash?” And at that point I was over it I had worked 10 hour shift still in work clothes and just wanted to eat and the fact that I only got 10 chicken tiddy bites and a basket of fries with the amount of fries my one and a half year old could hold in her hands I was over it and just said “no I just want the check” and he just goes “oookaayyy” like turned down a life vest on a sinking ship. So after another 5 minutes the girls comes back and hand me the check and and I paid full price for the unlimited wings even though my wife and I got 10 and for a 12 piece boneless wing is like 10$ So no discount or apology or even a sliver of remoarse so I just paid and left. Read moreI have been waiting for service in this place to improve before I left a proper review and unfortunately they continue to disappoint me. I LOVE Buffalos. Love love love the place. I have been going to the one in Canton ever since they opened in 1996. Phenomenal place! I have been going to this location for about 4 years now since we moved. This place is a hit or a miss but when they miss, they MISS.
Our first few visits were great!!! Hot food, great friendly service, very welcoming.
Then I tried to pick up an order one day. The order was incorrect and items were missing. No biggie. I went back to fix the order. Upon further investigation into my plates for my family I noticed they had served us 4 pounds of nothing but drumettes!! I did not specify flats or drumettes. I presumed it would be both? Ok, they remake the wings. As I am following up with my bank charges I notice that something was off about the amount charged on my Visa and I compared it to my records and realized someone had been a bit more generous with gratuity for themselves. I got in contact with the owner and he apologized and corrected the mistake. I should have stopped there.
Skip ahead a while after that, we hit this place up last night for bash. We arrived just before 8pm and were a bit taken aback by the empty parking lot. Our order was promptly taken and drinks served shortly after. However, we did not receive any food until 8:30pm. There were 3 tables. THREE. One was eating. One was us. One came in shortly after us. No one at the bar. The food was ice cold. They forgot our half order of bread. The wings were like eating bad beef jerky. Beef jerky would have been better. I'm a cook and I can tell you right now those wings had been cooked and recooked to warm them back up and I guess the cook forgot what a dry rub was because they came out soaked in sauce for a dry rub. Seemed more like a poor attempt to rehydrate the wings. My kid's corn dogs and tots were great! We rebashed immediately for fresher wings. Dry rub still made into a wet sauce? Other than that, these were warmer but still like jerky. Not fresh. This is now 13 wings in. We rebashed immediately after the second batch came out. They were brought out correct except the lemon pepper wings were drowning so badly I could hear the Baywatch theme song in my head when I looked at them. Deafening. But finally, some fresh wings!! This is 18 wings now. The waitress split before we could rebash nor did she ask if we wanted to. We never saw her again.
The waitress neglected to refill our drinks and my children's drinks. Then she walks up and takes our bone baskets away and drops off the check and says thank you! 😶
I take the check folder to the pick up window and explain to the girl there, since our waitress disappeared yet again, that we weren't finished eating yet. She apologized and said she would fetch our waitress. Our waitress returns to our table and states, "Our kitchen is closed now. I'm sorry." This is at 9:30pm.....
I don't say a single word more about it and ask for a box for my kid's plate to go home. Of course the box is broken and won't close. Whatever but I'm supposed to be ok with paying $15.99 for 18 wings, 13 of which were inedible?? I placed a $53 order for this? I tipped $3 but I really shouldn't have but I used to work in the industry and I know that could be somebody's baby food for the night.
I did contact the same owner from the fraudulent activity case and he is sending compensation for our meals. My advice: Do not eat here. Make the extra drive to Canton's location. We will be going to ONLY the Canton location from now on.
My husband and I left hungry from an all-you-can-eat special. We wound up going to Arby's for...
Read moreIt was a a very disappointing meal. We have never dined at Buffalo's before this. We picked this restaurant and location because we were famished and wanted a place that wasn't a 20 minute wait and had something for everyone in the menu. We ordered my son's dinner with our drink order so it would come out sooner while the wife and I decided what to try. He wanted a plain all American cheeseburger. What they brought out was a plain hamburger with two patties and no melted cheesy goodness. When we told the waitress, she made the mistake of offering to bring out some cheese slices. It would have been a much better choice on her part to offer taking the burger back and adding cheese in the kitchen to make sure they melted onto the burger like most cheeseburgers should come out to a patron. Secondly, the meals my wife and I received were room temperature. On top of that they got my wife's order wrong. She asked for green beans for the choice of veggies and no bell peppers. She didn't get the green beans and they gave her bell peppers. Her mashed potatoes and gravy were stone cold and her chopped steak was grisly and tough to cut with the table knife. The only saving grace for me was the death valley wing sauce. It made the room temp boneless wings palatable. The curly fries came out with half being seasoned and the other half plain. How hard is it to sprinkle seasoning over the entire order of fries?! The waitress was very attentive and was the highlight of our visit despite the misstep above. The biggest problem lies with the kitchen staff and the time runners for not checking orders and quality before serving items to customers. We may try ordering wings for take out, but dining inside is a hard pass for us after...
