Let me start off by saying this is strictly the visit today and two other times with said barber, otherwise I have had a fantastic experience every other time, especially with Danielle, Joey, and Cam!! I am also a many time repeat customer to this location and would hate for one barber to deter me from returning here in the future.
Sara is a very unprofessional and rude barber. I have had her 3 times and was hoping today (3rd time) to give her another chance and it would be the charm to better service from her, but sadly it was the same if not worse than the other times I have had her cut my hair. Today I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted (that ive had before) and explained I wanted a 1 all the way up the sides and undercut on the side the hair hung over and didn't want it blended. She said she could do it, so great I thought. She cut all the way up on the part side and then stopped short on the other side where the hair hung over. I waited for her to finish the other parts thinking she would go back and undercut the side. When she started cutting the top and asked the length, I asked if she was going to undercut and she said she did. Clearly she didnt and began to argue with me that she had. But when I lifted the hair over there was still hair to trim underneath. Then she continued to say that she had undercut it and than after a few times of disagreeing with me started to say I didn't have the length on the top to undercut it. Again I showed her and she said fine ill get shawn to take a look. Shawn came over and I explained that there was no undercut done. He looked at it and pulled out the clippers and UNDERCUT!!!!!! Thats all I wanted! Then after Shawn walked away sara had an attitude for the rest of the cut. Everytime she has cut my hair she always has a rude comment or argues with how I want it cut. If I come in and want three mohawks and a mullet and clearly have the hair to do it, just cut it!! As a paying customer I would hope to have it cut the way I want it without comments or arguments. Read moreI tried them again today, didn't ask for a free cut since our last experience 2 years ago wasn't great and the owner graciously offered one, but luckily their cuts are really inexpensive. The lady who cut my son's hair didn't do it like I asked on top, it was way too short again. I asked for longer on top and short on back and sides. The top is barely longer than a crew cut now. I just feel like I'm done at this point. I am keeping it 3 stars instead of lowering it because it's so cheap, and the sides and back were cut short like I asked. I wish I knew who was more experienced there so I could ask for them, because the reviews are great. Below is my original review.
I'm giving 3 stars because the first 3 haircuts came out fine on my 11 year old son. We always had a wait a long time, but fine, they cut his hair the way I asked. The girl who we always got left the company so we had to wait for the next available barber in a very packed waiting room. The next barber to finish up skipped over my son to cut a man's hair instead even though we had been waiting longer. Okay, you own the place, it's your choice if you don't want to cut a boys hair. But the guy we got butchered his hair. I'd never seen him there before so I'm not sure if he was new. He was a nice guy but I asked for length on top, no military cut and I wanted it short on sides and back. He failed to blend it like I asked and the sides stuck out. My wife tried to take our toddler here to get a haircut today. He’s had his hair cut here several times already without issue, so I’m honestly astonished at what took place.
Toddler was crying as he always gets anxious with the clippers. This has never been an issue in the past, as he’s usually fine within a couple minutes.
A different barber than the one assigned to cut my child’s hair gets upset at the crying and tells my wife they won’t do the haircut. Umm what? You aren’t even involved in the situation, and the assigned barber was handling it just fine.
As a result, the assigned barber follows the other barber’s instructions to not do the haircut and my wife is told to leave.
A third barber yells at her on her way out to “LISTEN!!!!” which is clearly uncalled for and completely unprofessional. My wife left the barber shop in tears because of the treatment she received.
Not sure why the sudden refusal to provide a service when said service has been previously provided under the exact same circumstances.
