Captain D's — Restaurant in Georgia

The captain D's on candler road is AWFUL. The food was COLD and when I ask the cashier for a fresh meal she snatched the bag off me, rolled her eyes, was smacking her dirty weave right by the food and was just IGNORANT. She had me there waiting for 18 mins so I ask another employee if I could just get my money back because I only have 30 mins for lunch and the employee told me that they don't give refunds. So I waited another 14 mins (I ask several times for my food or my money back) After waiting for a total of 32 mins I just left without food and without my $17 dollars. And I went back to work for another 5 and a half hours without lunch. I will NEVER go back to Captain D's on candler road. EVERYTHING about that place is sooooo nasty and ignorant. The only reason I gave them one star is because I HAD to inorder to leave a review. That is a newly renovated restaurant and it already filthy. Walking across the floor and you stick to it. The place smells like a VERY DIRTY OLD MOP. And to me that cashier and that other employee that wouldn't just give me my money back are THIEVES. I work very hard for my money so $17 dollars isnt just pennies to me. The owner should really be more involved in that place because all it is is a bunch of ignorant first graders on a playground. Doesn't the owner ever watch the cameras? What's worse than anything is that when I ask to speak to the manager about getting my money back, the manager was worse than the employee. The manager told me "WE DONT GIVE REFUNDS SO YOU CAN WAIT ON YOUR FOOD OR YOU CAN LEAVE" THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TOLD BY A CAPTAIN D'S MANAGER. AND I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET MY $17 DOLLARS BACK. BEWARE PEOPLE OF CAPTAIN D'S ON CANDLER ROAD BECAUSE I HAD A TERRIBLE ENCOUNTER WITH THE FOOD, THE EMPLOYEE, THE MANAGER AND THE PLACE...

My significant other and I came to Captain D's after church for we were feeling fish. Upon placing our order the young lady Leanette had an attitude because we requested fresh food one of the cooks made the comment these people be doing the most about this food. As we're waiting for our food the young woman Leanette starts coughing on front line repeatedly I waited to see if she was going to wash her hands and excuse her self to clear her chest she didn't she stayed on the front line like everything was ok so I said hey listen let me get a refund because I can't deal with you all on front line coughing ain't washed your hands or none of that. It was a nice young lady name Courtney who said ma'am I got you I dropped your whole order fresh I changed my gloves I have fresh gloves I'll take care of your entire order myself. Courtney stopped me from getting a refund she brought our food to us hot and fresh was very polite and accommodating. I go to the front to ask for a manager to praise Courtney why the manager is the cougher Leanette. So I came on here to give Courtney a great review they need to make her a manager and...

Lousy service. Placed two orders for senior citizens (72 and 91 y.o., both of us on walking canes) while store was empty. Paid, then about 15 people started coming in for their lunch. We stood for 47 minutes, watching a crew of about 6 people in back and front prepare those orders and the people left with their food. We kept asking, "Why haven't we gotten our food, is it because you don't value old people's time? We have been waiting. You gave us the WRONG ORDERS TWICE". They gave us two orders. Both with the wrong foods. We had to repeat our orders over and over...twice, and they gave us the wrong food both times. I felt disrespected and said so. "I have been nice and patient, but I'm about to get nasty if you don't fix our food right this minute." More people were coming in and placing orders. The cashier and a young woman at the counter looked at me with surprise and they BOTH laughed. I promised i was not playing and would call the manager, a male who walked out just as we walked in. I never heard back from him. If I had a cat, I would not buy discounted fish to feed it from...
