On January 11, 2019 @ 8:21 pm I ordered from the captain Ds at the address 2422 Wesley Chapel Rd, Decatur, GA 30035 using the Uber eats app. The food arrived to my location and I immediately noticed that there was no napkins, no straws, no utensils, no condiments My order is as follows-
1 kids meal 2 piece fish tenders with broccoli and fries with sweet tea as the drink
1 kids meal 2 piece fish tenders with Mac n cheese and fries with sweet tea as the drink
1 grilled white fish with a schrimp skewer with a side salad with honey mustard dressing and broccoli
First issue- an employee called me from her personal cell phone to advise me that they did not have an side salads. This was upsetting because I didn’t really eat any of the other side but I let her know a potato would do.
The food arrived and as I explained above I did not receive straws, napkins, a utensil if any sort, and no condiments (I.e. butter, salt, pepper ect.)
Also I My grilled white fish with a schrimp sckewer did not have any schrimp what so ever.
I called and spoke with the manager on duty Named Donald.
I explained to him the issue and he asked what I would like him to do ... I asked him that I have my order replaced in the future and he agreed
He then asked me what I ordered (instead of looking it up on the order system from Uber) I started to tell him (again)
He interrupted me as I spoke and said “sounds like I’m replacing a lot for some missing straws”
I then replied and said “sir there was a lot more missing than stra....”
He then again interrupted me and said “ma’am would you just hurry up and continue I have a line “
I paused in disbelief at how rude he was being and continued telling him my order
I said “ I had a kids 2 piece fish...”
One again I’m interrupted “ma’am there is no kids 2 piece fish!”
I replied back “yes sir there is”
He then said bye ma’am and hung up on me
I gathered the uneaten food and proceeded to head to the store to collect a refund
When I arrived the person I now know as Donald starting yelling “DONALD, DONALD, SOMEONE IS AT THW FRONT TO SEE YOU”
I later realized he was doing this to try to make me believe he wasn’t in fact “Donald “ and that Donald was to busy to come from the back
I asked the employee at the front if she can please have Donald come out and tend to my complaint and low and behold the same guy who was screaming for Donald came out with an orange shirt on and a name tag that said Donald?!?!
I ignored the ridiculousness of that fact and immediately asked him if he felt like it was ok to hang up on paying customers
He then proceeded to say “I SAID BYE MAAM”
I asked him for a refund and he said “you didn’t pay us you paid Uber talk to them”
He did not offer to fix the issue in any other way
I again asked for a refund and he told me I need to leave the store, I did not leave and he then stated he was calling the police.
I waited and waited and Donald never came back. I left the order on the counter, took a picture of it, and also recorded the callback number and the general managers name.
I then walked out
What an unacceptable way to treat a customer, I will never patronize a captain ds ever again and I would hope that you guys give out proper training on interacting with customers who have an issue...
Read moreI was the only one is drive-thru, I was told to drive around to the front and they would bring out the food. Within the next 10 minutes, more cars began cluttering up the front and side of building. After about 30 minutes, i called to see what the problem was. One lady who was waiting got out of her car and went in and got her food(or so she thought). Within the next 10 minutes an employee comes out with 4 completed orders. Approaching me first (and not having my order), she realized there was a problem. Shortly after giving all the other customers their order, the lady from earlier returned because she had the wrong order(which was mine). It would have made more sense to complete one order at a time and bring it out or just let us wait at the window. No problem with the food, just the way they get it to you in...
Read moreSo my boyfriend went to get us something to eat yesterday. He went through the Drive Thru and ordered 2 Deluxe Seafood Platters. He got his 2 crab cakes but I only got one. When I called up there to let them know, the person on the phone was super ghetto. Went to get my crab cake today and ordered some extra hush puppies, wait was over 10 minutes for the simplest things!! They gave me some extra crab cakes which was cool but I get home and they’re old as hell!!! The manager and the employees were all very ghetto and very rude!!! Just terrible.
