NEW, Boy Howdy and How. Three tries in two weeks and every single order is wrong and each experience more painfully slow than the last. I arrived at 0600, one of the first five cars in line. I placed an order for a menu item (no special instructions) and pulled forward. The orders come out haphazardly and completely out of order. Four cars behind you gets their food, then three cars in a row in the mobile order line get theirs, then two cars behind you gets their order, then three more cars in the mobile order line get theirs. Meanwhile, I sat for fifteen minutes waiting only to arrive at my office to find the order was completely wrong. This scenario has played out three separate times on three separate days now. I get being "new." I get it. But good Lord. Tell boards crew to STOP MAKING ORDERS until they complete the FIRST/OLDEST ORDER placed. It does not matter if other orders are faster to make. First in, first out. Get it together. This is supposed to be Chick-fil-A, the Michael Jordan of fast food drive thrus; what is this, amateur hour? This new Halcyon location has been open for weeks now, weeks, and it's still raw pure chaos. Will your order be correct? Will you ever even get your order? Why do they keep running orders to the cars behind you? It's not only that service is shockingly slow, the slowly fulfilled orders aren't even correct or complete. What on earth is going on at Chick-fil-A Halcyon? I'll drive the extra distance to Windward Parkway and give this working disaster zone of disorganization a few more months to get their act together and all the chaos sorted out. Stop making orders OUT OF ORDER. Take a breath, pause a beat, and practice first in first out. Handing orders two cars back because their food is ready isn't helping anyone. Focus. Focus on the task at hand. The first order placed should be the first order completed. Figure this out. Until then, there's a Waffle House across the street where the food is fast, fresh, and your order is completed correctly, folks. Otherwise, make the drive to Windward Parkway or to any other location, and spare yourself the headache of trying to get food at...
Read moreI understand that it’s a newly opened restaurant and there are hiccups that occur, but this Chick-fil-a is by far the worst Chick-fil-a I have visited. The service is below the standards of any other Chick-fil-a’s in the area. The “new mobile” drive thru lane is terribly organized and slow. Often times, customers will receive orders out of order, which means a driver at the beginning of the lane will hold up the other customers who receive their orders prior to the customer at the front of the lane. The location was poorly researched as it is difficult to get to and the parking lot is extremely small and difficult to even find vacant spots. The company should not have signed off on this physical location. The food is frankly not good. Whether the chicken nuggets are burnt (or too much breading), fries are overcooked or burnt (i.e., the fryer oil needs to be replaced), the ketchup packets are somehow spoiled, or the orders are completely wrong or missing items, there consistently seems to be something wrong with every order. Avoid this location. I’ve given this spot too many chances and I’m sick of dealing with it. It’s a shame because I was excited about this location opening, but disappointed. Apparently, a Five Guys is opening up next door too. Why? There are better and more affordable burger places at the Halcyon. Why spend $25 for a subpar burger? Halcyon developers continue to make poor decisions. I look forward to the Gathering opening up down the street that will take business away...
Read moreMy sister and I met at this Chick-fil-A today for lunch before running some errands. When we walked out after eating, we happened to walk out at the same time as one of the employees. My sister noticed at that moment she had a flat tire. The employee immediately came over and told us she would go inside and ask if any of the other employees could help change a tire. Out came THREE male employees, Sam, Jake, and Will (and eventually Mr. Mike!) With the help of their own tools (my sister's were very rusty and missing parts), they were able to get a very stubborn tire off and swap it for the spare. They never asked for anything, only provided extremely amazing help and handled it with only kindness. Today's flat was the final straw after a very long week of inconveniences, and to say we were grateful was an understatement. So shoutout to the incredible staff at this location for being the best Valentines anyone could ask for. Stop in for a sandwich, leave with a new tire and a few new friends. Top notch service. THANK YOU!!! Your kindness will not be forgotten, and we...
