Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Georgia

Me and my sister went here today. Order two of the Tue special wait 30 min. Finally got up there to drive window sit there for about another 10 min. The guy who frying the chicken he ask us what we waiting on . I told him 2 Tue special . He took my sister card. The young lady came with one box chicken. I told her we paid for two Tue special. I show her the receipt. She said you don't have to show me that I got it. She walk away in went out side. Didn't say anything. We still waiting, My sister ask the guy what we waiting on . He ask her said there go the bag. Got the bag I pull off. My sister open the box. I ask her hand me a drum . Put that chicken in my mouth taste just like smoke that's all I tasted. We took it back and told the guy we want a refund he called the manager told,him for what . We haven't had a refund all day why now . We told her the chicken taste like smoke. She apologized but still didn't like the way she was talking . I wish we would have went in the inside first . All the employees no hairnet on. Baggy clothes hanger off they butt. They need to be in some uniforms with a hat on. Behind the counter was nasty. This is my second time calling about complaint at Church's I will be getting in touch with the Health Department. It’s August 1 2019. I have gave this restaurant a few chances but I’m fed up . I was inthe drive thru line 9:24 it was 2 cars infront of me , taking long as usual. It’s all good tho, there was 2 cars behind me the lights were on in the inside & people was eating. I get to the radio/speaker (raining a lot today btw) . My window down so I can hear the person in the other side so they can take my order. At this point I’m frustrated. I pull up the window the lady on her phone standing there. I told her “I think your radio outside don’t work” her respond was “ we ran out of chicken , we are close”. All the food was put up. I understand you trying to go home early , 10 on the dot, but it doesn’t work like that when you work at fast food restaurant. I call customer service I didn’t care anymore . Because it was not the first or second time it happens they always closing before 10:00pm which that’s their schedule at the door. Also, the staff always cussing at each other when I dine in which it’s aite I can say. One time the staff was fighting each other . That’s the most ghetto sh*tt I ever seeing. It was 6:40pm when we got in the drive thru line. It was 7:20 pm when we recieved our receipt after being told there would be a 30 minute delay on our order. To me this is unacceptable. At 7:45 the 🐔 chicken was pull and put under the light. At 7: 50pm the chicken 🐔 was brought to us at my truck. The chicken was dark and hard. One biscuit was perfect as church's requires. My daughter got one of the frosted honey biscuits and she ate it so I presume it was to her liking. When we got home we gave the chicken 🐔 to my oldest grandson who eats everything. He is always hungry. I couldn't eat it because it was to hard for my delicate gums. They are always sensitive. The store is located in Austell, GA on Austell Rd. I love Church's fried chicken. And I will continue to give the benefit of the doubt until the service is completely unacceptable. I no longer patronize the Burger King across the street because of poor service. I will never go back. I will continue to report...
