By far the worst experience I've experienced far as customer service. I'm a gig worker and I understand the stress regarding food service, so I make it a point to be kind, respectful, and patient. I had orders for 2 separate people. To protect their names I will the first person M and the 2nd S. The cashier informed me to reach out to the customer and let them know they're out of chocolate sprinkled donuts, I said "no problem " but prior I asked which order and she said for M. I did that, the customer was nice and politely said "surprise me". I told the cashier. So as she gave me the box of donuts, it had the other customer name. The cashier gave me the wrong customer's name to contact. So I told the cashier I'll reach out to the right customer which is "S". I was polite still. So I did that and cashier proceeded taking other orders. In meantime I'm hearing the manager arguing with a customer in the drive thru proceeding to tell him in a condescending manner "have a good day" and as he pulls away, she said something about the guy's mother and stated she doesn't have time for these white people! As all of that is going on, I'm still waiting for my order to be fixed, the cashier continues to take other people orders while ignoring me. After over 20 minutes and the 4th customer, I apologize to that customer and explained that I still have this order I need to get to my customer, it has been over 20 minutes. I was still polite. The customer looks to me and she was very kind and met me outside after everything and stated she will be making a complaint on my behalf as well, stated she has endured the rudeness but what I experienced was uncalled for but I digress. The manager interjected with saying "you need to contact M and tell her I'm not about to be guessing what she want" just extremely rude. I told her it's not the customer fault and it's the wrong customer and that I had already contacted the right customer. The manager had no interest in listening to me and proceeded to in a negative tone instruct me to call the customer because now they have to throw the donuts away". I told her at this point that's not even really none of my concern, the cashier made the mistake, I've already contacted the right customer and this is what she wants. She still went on complaining about she's not in a guessing game with these customer's. By then I was extremely perturbed. I still maintain a level of professionalism and stated this was a simple fix. She stated don't make me call [gig work company] then proceeded as she did with the gentleman prior and said "I hope you have a good day!". As I started walking out, I turned around and ask, "what is your name?" She said "what is your name?" I gave her my name and I asked what I'd your name, she walked off wouldn't give it to me and "said have a good day!" At which I responded I hope you don't. This occurred 4-29-2023 at around 10:45AM so you as in corporate can know the manager who was on duty. She is a medium sized African American lady perhaps in 30-40s, short height...

I arrived at this location in the afternoon. Ordered half dozen donuts and a drink. The young man that served me was friendly and professional. I recieved my food and drink. Pulled up from drive thru window and realized I had no napkins and the donuts looked OLD STALE LIKE THEY HAD SAT OUT IN THE HEAT...MELTED...THEN STORED AGAIN. I quickly backed up, showed him tbe donuts, and complained about them. The young man agreed about the state of the food. He then took my donuts and explained they are shipped to store, they all look this way today, and manger isnt onsite to give me a refund. He took my name/phone number and a picture of reciept then sent it to manager Ms. Malik. He explained she would contact me when she returned. Next two days, no call. I retuned to the store to get my refund. The young female (she and other coworker refused to give their names) at the drive thru took my name, then quickly explained "you are the half dozen donuts lady". We laughed and she asked for me to wait while she contacted the manager Ms.Malik. She (employee) returned with phone to her ear explaining "she SAID SHES NOT GIVING YOU NO MONEY BACK!!!" I asked why and demanded to speak with her. She refused. I asked for the manager to call me...she refused. I explained this is theft and I needed to speak to manager. She refused and walked away. Another female approached the window and stated "oh she said you took the donuts!!" I explained thats ludacris! Why would I be here if I took them. Then please contact Clinton the gentleman that sent the information. She refused. She the explained twice that she WOULD CALL THE POLICE IF I DIDNT LEAVE. I explained for her to please call, and Id be parked in the front. Waited 10 minutes (I contacted the corporate office while I waited to get a complaint number and filed). THE POLICE NEVER SHOWED (Im assuming the never called)!
The store owner, nor the manger ever followed up with me. Im filing a police report in...
Read moreI have been a Duncan donut customer for 40 years and have had mostly good experiences all over Atlanta and beyond. However , this morning at the sharpsburg location I have to say was one of the worst experiences in food service I have ever had. My wife and I stopped by for a quick coffee around 9:30 am. The drive through was humming of course and we entered the store. We waited patiently at the counter for at least 10 mins all the while attempting to get someone’s attention. Finally , a manager perked up and instructed the young lady who had been busy doing absolutely nothing to take notice of us at the counter. She approached us as if it was the last thing she wanted to do and very begrudgingly took our order. She then proceeded to take 4 more orders behind us and fill their orders before she even attempted to finish our simple order. When we said something about the situation she simply shrugged her shoulders and said , “ oh well “. The manager finally came over to finish the order and got a simple order of two coffees wrong. When we said something they both basically told us that it was all that we would get. It’s hard to believe that an established organization of this caliber would employ such people. After 40 years of frequenting Duncan donuts it is the absolute worst I’ve been treated in any establishment. I would not recommend this particular...
