Visited drive-thru for a Coffee and Iced Tea. Individual at the window was obviously new. There was a person standing next to them which I assume was a trainer judging from the way the questions they were asking the new employee. I understand being new but let's begin with a lesson in customer service. My change including paper was dropped in my hand with no amount given or anything said. In fact nothing was ever said, not even a greeting when I pulled in front of the window. Needless to say only 14 cents of the $ 2.81 made into my hand. the rest fell to the ground. It was raining and there was a line of cars behind me and all I got was, "oh well". The trainer was oblivious to what just happened. I am appalled at the service at this location. Or should I say lack of service. I have been going to this location due to bad service at another close by location and now this location has joined the ranks. How about training the trainer. Another novel idea... begin with a few customer service skills and a roll-play scenario before putting a new person on the line. I hold Dunkin and the so-called trainer responsible not the new employee who is trying to learn. Kudos to them for actually working. Shame on you Dunkin! Don't forget, you have several close by alternatives for excellent coffee and similar products. Guess where tomorrow's coffee...
Read moreOrdered my usual order and off the bat ms Madelyn on the speaker had horrible attitude and was making things up, we say whole milk she says “you want cream?” IM SORRY BUT IT DOESNT SOUND REMOTELY SIMILAR! And then she randomly almost said whipped cream out of nowhere but stopped herself? Didn’t think anything of it other than maybe being tired and not a very good listener?… till I got handed whipped cream in my drink, she then said she thought we said whipped cream then continued mumbling to herself about how she didn’t put whipped cream on the receipt? AND? and how it must’ve been our fault or the person making the drink? we didnt! ACCOUNTABILITY MADELYN A-C-C-O-U-N-T-A-B-I-L-I-T-Y, she’s then SCOOPS the whipped cream out of the drink? Rolling her eyes? SCOOPS IT OFF OUR DRINK instead of remaking? Thats not normal? And handed us the wrong food that said (mobile order) we didn’t mobile order, if you’re gonna blame someone for your own actions MADELYN than don’t work in customer service! Then rolled her eyes and scoffed when we can back around to get our actual order? Like PLEASE customer service job or not that’s just not how anybody old enough to be able to have a job...
Read moreThis location was my favorite, but lately it's been so very bad. I order ahead on the app, and they have it by the time I get there. Pretty easy. Lately something goes wrong between checking in at the speaker and driving around to the window. Whether I'm the only car or there's a line, they ask me to repeat the order and still manage to forget most of it. No special requests/customizations. Yesterday they gave me 1 of 3 items, told me to have a good day, and left the window. I waited almost 5 min for someone to come back to the window so I could ask about the rest, and that took several attempts to get all 3 things. When I got out of the line, I realized they forgot to put any flavor in my coffee as ordered - again, it was a really simple order and I repeated it twice. I'm usually understanding with mistakes because customer service is not for the faint of heart, but after 3+ repeats of missing/wrong items and incompetent employees, I probably won't be back. *Came back to edit because I've been here once or twice since my review and everything has been great! I'm not sure if it was a bad staffing issue at the time, but I'm hopeful that this location...
