Farmers Basket — Restaurant in Georgia

I asked if it was possible to try any of the sides and / or veggies . the young woman ( brown complected , possibly middle eastern or indian maybe ) informed me that no side items could be sampled but i could try any “ entree “ ( the proteins / meats ) . so i asked how the handle customers who dont eat the “ entrees “ , people who don’t eat meat can’t sample too? then the older, asian woman who was giving out samples to another customer interjects and explains “ people know what the sides taste like so theres no sampling “ essentially its not necessary … nobody knows what YOUR food and YOUR cooking tastes like until they try it . she would have been better off just keeping that response in the vault . the other customer also agreed that their policies and responses were ridiculous . didn’t become a customer today and won’t be back . i instead took my business to bezoria in the same mall . much more accommodating .

I never write reviews but I feel compelled to do so, simply based on how I was treated. I am only in Atlanta for a few days. I was excited to discover the Mall and food court as I stood outside the restaurant trying to decide my meal, I was met with Racism and extremely poor customer service. I didn't get to try the food because of that. Samples were offered to other people of the same race that were not even in line and to be honest there wasn't a line. They were calling people over. I was treated as a problem, an interference " Move from here" " You are in the way". I don't remember the last time I've been treated so poorly. So I recommend you do not eat here, go next door to Tokyo Express they are very welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious and...

No room between the order counter, entrance to the restaurant and the dining area especially when there's already two or more people at the counter. There were two or more people at the dining room table. My first time there, as soon as you've entered, the order counter is right there. Had to walk among people in dining area to get in. I was not clear where I need to stand to place order. No one available to assist. I lefted. Food looked very good. Will try again another time but only if there is no people already...
