Food is typical of Jim n nicks. Iām giving this location 2 stars for its format. Be aware this location is a counter order location. You walk in and order then find a table.
Admittedly Iām not a fan of this format, but in this specific instance especially so. Also be aware they just opened but I didnāt experience any newly opened specific issues.
My observations
I probably would have given a 1 star but all the workers are very friendly and are working hard. The the layout and format that brings my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad been looking forward to this place opening, and finally went last night. Tried the drive thru, for the experience. Ordered pulled pork sandwich, slicked turkey sandwich with 2 sides each. Paid, and drove around to the pickup. A very nice young lady came out to me to let me know that they were out of turkey, and did I want to substitute a different protein? Ok... how about chicken tenders? Sure. She came back with 2 receipts, my original one and a second one, where my card was upcharged for the tenders. (Really? Shouldn't whatever difference in price be comp'ed since it was their failure to let me know as I ordered?) Whatever. Food was ok.
Glutton for punishment that I am, I went back again today to try that sliced turkey sandwich. Asked them to substitute mayo for the honey mustard, and YES I wanted the included lettuce & tomato.
You can guess what happened: No lettuce. No tomato. Mayo on the SIDE, with no plasticware with which to spread it over the roll and the 2 sad pickles.
Food was ok. Best thing about it was the sides, but In general too expensive for what you get. I wont be back.
And again, I wish that I had reminded myself of my previous visits. (I have no one to blame but myself) This time, I tried the burger and onion rings. The burger was ok, but I could buy some Bubba Burgers and get the same experience. The onion rings would've been good if they weren't a salt lick (which is bad). This was way overpriced for what they're putting out.
This time I really mean it,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took a friend with me to try this the food. So we stood in the line like you do at a fast food restaurant. This is the second time I have eaten here. There was nobody at this restaurant. We place our orders. I ordered sweet tea. We get our number and cup. I go to get a sweet tea. It's empty. There are two young female employees standing there, I waited for them to move out of the way to get drinks. I try to get my tea. The teas are all empty. I politely interrupt the conversation they are having right in front of the drink area. I say. ( excuse me, all the tea dispensers are empty). The very tall woman with jet-black hair turns around and says, (we know that. We are trying to figure it out). So rude! There is not much to figure out. When the tea is empty, you just go to the back and get more. It shouldn't take two employees to figure this out. What needs to be fingered out, is customer service. I don't see this place staying open very long. I have never seen more than 10 guests in the restaurant at a time. With the way this is being managed, I'm sure it will close soon. The food is okay, but the portions are very small. The tea is good too, after waiting and being scolded by the employee. Remember, the whole reason you have a job is to provide a Steller customer experience. Had your employees not just been standing by the front door and all three just having a conversation, the tea would...
