I hate to say this, but the youth these days that work fast food or anything related to providing customer service is almost a guaranteed precursor to how they will turn out when they get older.
When you enter any establishment and receive a patron that contributes to your wages made, you'd think it'd be commonplace to treat them with respect, but then again, if you don't learn it at home, of course you won't front in the outside world, and I'm even if you do, that front won't last long.
Case in point, I visit the Little Caesars at the Berwick location, I stand waiting listening to a young lady and her ratchet conversation that everyone waiting can hear clearly. Surely there are cameras that show people in the front, and her facing where the TVs would be but ignoring us standing there was the first strike.
I had to yell HELLO because she kept talking. I placed an order for the cheese puffs and a regular order of wings, asked if I could use tap to pay, paid for my order and was told the order would be 10 minutes. I return in the time prescribed and was told by her "Its not ready". When I replied "you said 10 minutes" her response was "yeah, but it's not ready". I stated that I knew it was a guesstimate time, but can you check and see actually how long it'll be. She goes back and begins yapping her gums again and returns 3 minutes later and tells me "it's gonna be 10 more minutes".
It's things like that as a business owner that I always pay attention to when it comes to my staff because they know customer service is non-negotiable and zero tolerance for blatant disregard and disrespect to the customer; but then again it goes both ways. Needless to say I've never had to fire any of my employees for being disrespectful to a customer and their tips show for it.
The nerve of a store that I would have to pick up from, have bad service and you ask me if I want to tip!!! My tip would be to work on customer service interaction which can help in future jobs of greater importance.
A major reason I rarely patronize specific...
Read moreI am so incredibly disappointed in the customer service here tonight. When I arrived to order some pizza, it was empty in the parking lot, & only 2 people inside. One of the men was waiting on his order & the other was waiting to order. The guy who was waiting to order left because no one came to the front to take his order. Shortly after he left a 3 more different parties of people came in to order as well. I was still waiting to order. I heard a lady in the back tell another lady that there were customers in the lobby. I then see this lady slowly (like sloth slowness) emerge staring at her phone. Once she finally put down the phone, she came over with a attitude to take my order. Then she took her sweet slow time taking everyone else’s orders. The thing that really made me & other customers mad tonight was the fact that the girl running the front completely forgot about the very first guy’s order. We all advised him to speak up. He did, & the girl did not even remember his order. He had to show her his receipt in order for him to get his pizza. The girl running the front lobby tonight 9/25/22, was unprofessional, rude, had a horrible attitude, did not pay attention to detail, was too busy having her face glued to her phone, is not efficient, is not precise, is completely lazy. Honestly, she needs to be fired. This location lost out on at least 2 opportunities to make...
Read moreCustomer service is terrible here I was picking up a Uber eats order and proceeded to give the person at the counter the name. She then tells me that there is a code to pick it up which for Uber there is not. She didn’t tell me I can’t see the code because I hit verify . When you hit verify on Uber, you’re only verifying what the items are in the order. It does not skip or bypass anything. If there was a code it would’ve been in the instructions and hitting verify would not change the instructions.
I do DoorDash and Uber and for DoorDash, it does give you instructions on how to use the hotbox portal but on the updated version of Uber you just get The name. this goes the same for other restaurants like McDonald’s and Taco Bell or you used to have to give the code but now you give the name and you verify The code on the receipt once you get the food, she proceeded to belittle me and tell me I was not listening in that next time I would not receive the food. You definitely need to do better training On customer service. And maybe educate your workers that not every uber and/or DoorDash instructions are the same. I pick up from little Caesars all the time multiple locations and I never get a hotbox portal code. To tell I’m wrong and not “Listening”...
