I have been rocking with Lil Caesar’s since I found out how the owner supported Rosa Parks. He really must have had a significant respect for service, human service, customer service. They would both be greatly disappointed with this particular restaurant. I wish I could be proud of the young African American employees there. Someone has certainly given them a great chance to run a great franchise. Unfortunately, they are failing. Failing from a hygienic point of few, fresh food point of view, consistent good customer service to include answering the phone. I picked up a pizza (hot and ready) in a rush for my kids. (Ok, I did not check it) I get home and the pizza is dry, hard and some what warm. I called several times as I did not want to return. I would have been ok if I could have spoke with someone over the phone. I would have taken the time to address my other concerns. I would have did this out of love and having been young once as well. After calling six times no one answered the phone. My wife has complained about the service as well. Her particular concern is the employees making the pizza doesn’t wear gloves or hairnets. My response was no one has really said anything because it has been like that. So, now I am saying something. Corporate needs to look into this particular operation as well as other reviews about this restaurant. I support the legacy but not the present service of this particular...
Read moreI have ordered from this location pretty regularly, but each time it is a dice roll. Half the time, it's great, fast, and everything goes smoothly. The other half the time, it takes three hours for them to decide to lock the door in your face after putting your food in the pickup portal. Yesterday, this was the case.
I ordered my food online after a particularly miserable day, paid, and waited for updates. My pizza was put in the oven... and then nothing. I drove over to make sure they hadn't burned the building down with my pizza, and found the lights turned off and the front door locked. My pizza was safely secured in the pickup portal (though the tracking still claims that it is in the oven, a day later...), so safe that even I couldn't get to it... I just wanted to end my day on a good, greasy, lukewarm note, but instead I got one more expectation dashed against the shores of mere complacency and lowered standards. I should have known better, I suppose. I'll be calling up the line, and who knows, maybe they'll let me join the ranks of their staff, where I can personally ensure that each pizza is turned 90° on it's side before serving, and that the crazy bread is criminally undercooked and served with no sauce, and of course, grin menacingly while denying any preparation which might suggest that the food is either hot, or ready... or...
Read moreSure it's good pizza. They won't pick up the phone though, AT ALL. And when you place online orders you MIGHT get what you ordered. MAYBE. And when you come to pickup your online order, they MIGHT tell you that they were out of what you ordered. MAYBE. And then you might overpay for what you got instead of what you ordered but who knows? Certainly not you. Who is running the store? Are they accountable for anything at all? Do they care at all? I used to work at this store and even I can't tell. Not my type of customer service, but if you are used to that kind of treatment then feel free- this store was made for you 😉
Update: 2 wks later, after trying to call at various times for two weeks without answer, I decided to stop by this excuse of a restaurant, in fact excuse of a pizza place. The manager revealed that the restaurant is owned by Byron Scott (probably a lie but I wouldn't doubt it if it were true). And the employee, that I asked to speak with a manager with, admitted to me that THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE.... like period. Maybe they're REDFINING what the definition of low end pizza restaurant is.... apparently it gets lower than you could imagine.
Hey - anyone doubt it? Wherever you are- please try calling this restaurant! I'm sure you'll be satisfied. Bless Dale Stanton, that man knew how to run...
