It was Mother's Day after a year of being lockdown due to the pandemic. So I had been to several other Longhorns and they were completely packed out and long wait times. This Longhorn, upon arrival, the hostess offered the bar as a substitute to cut my wait time, which I accepted. Upon sitting at the bar, I was greeted by Alex first, who gave me a menu to look at immediately, and took my drink order. After that, Taylor, a dual waitress/bartender, supplied me with eating utensils. I placed my order with Alex, and I was a little complicated because I wanted some additions to my meal. However, Alex was very accommodating. As I waited for my meal to arrive, I had previously observed a impatient customer, who had a large party, get belligerent with the restaurant staff because of the wait time. The staff called in, I don't believe I am going to spell his name right, but here goes, Zeric, one of the managers, to handle the situation. I observed Zeric patiently listen to the potential customer's complaint about the wait, at the same time, did not allow the customer to become belligerent with him as the customer had done with the other restaurant staff, and communicated with the customer why there's a wait time and the strategy on how to eliminate the customer's wait time. After that, I observed Zeric go to work on the implementation of that strategy and within 5 to 10 minutes, the customer and his large party was being seated. All while this was occurring, my wait time for my own personal meal had reach between 20 to 30 minutes because of a mishap with the meal being made. However, Alex was in often communication with me on the status of the wait time of my meal. When my meal arrived, Arlando, I hope I spelled that right and she was I guess one of the kitchen upper management, gave me my meal and explained to me in detail the delay of my meal and supplied me with extra portions of my meal to accommodate for the delay. The meal was very delicious. The staff was incredible in their handling the customers, wait times due to the Mother's day holiday, and general customer service. An awesome display of teamwork, diligence, and strong work ethic performed by this location....
Read moreFirst of all, our waitress was PERFECT! We were a party of 12 for a family member's birthday and she was fantastic. My issues were with the manager on duty last night (5/2/19). I am a manager at a food establishment so this isn't coming from just an unhappy customer. My uncles steak was ordered medium and came out well done so we sent it back to the kitchen. My grandmothers steak was burnt to a crisp and sent back to the kitchen as well. Both were like shoe leather and no one could eat it. And it didn't come from the kitchen how they ordered it, which is why is should be corrected; we are paying good money for it. Corrin (our waitress) apologized and sent them back to the kitchen. Great. The manager comes around and asks how everything came out, we let him know that 2 of our steaks had been sent back because they were prepared incorrectly. He apologized. The manager brings both steaks back out, and both are incorrect again. They are still too well done, just not burned like the first go around. My uncle was hungry so he said it's not how I ordered it but I'm hungry so I'll eat it. My poor grandmother couldn't even cut hers. The manager then turned to our waitress and told her that our table was killing him. I DO NOT CARE if you have to comp our steaks because they were too tough to eat and you had a 2nd chance to redeem yourselves, and it was still wrong. First of all, you DO NOT talk about customers in front of them. You have a discussion in the kitchen. Secondly, you should talk to your kitchen (like any manager would have done) and let them know this table is already unhappy so the second steaks you send out need to be perfect. We were there at 7:30-9pm so it wasn't SUPER busy on a Thursday. I don't appreciate the manager on duty's attitude and he needs to learn how to be a better manager. We will not be back to...

I have been patronizing this establishment for a long time up until today today is 22 February 2023. We came in to the restaurant server is absolutely wonderful however there was entirely too much seasoning dumped on On the red rock shrimp that my mother orderer that 70 years old. It was so salty and so undercooked I cannot believe the expo allowed this to happen. I also had ordered a steak outlaw ribeye cooked medium it came out medium well with very little juice. My mother sent the red shrimp back they brought her shrimp once again completely undercooked only this time The expediter decided she was a manager and was going to stand over my mother while she ate the shrimp. This time we just told him to take the shrimp back and please take it off of our meal I offered a suggestion to maybe have the cook To slow down she laughed at me and said thank you for your suggestion. I like Longhorn very much however this location has completely turned me off we pay very good money to eat we should get it the way we want it standards here are way off. Also we ate at 12 O’clock on a Wednesday. Shasha gave my mother static about taking the Meal off I’m gonna have to contact corporate so they can get this straightened out. Once again the server was great. The back of the house Musta lost their...
