So, My business partner called me on Sunday Aug 4th and told Me I had to try the new Fiery pizza's because they were awesome! I downloaded the app, made an account and placed an order for the two fiery pizzas, two pizzolis and a Calzone for my Wife because she can't handle spicey. I go to pick it up and I asked where the calzone was? She said there is no Calzone on this order! I pulled up my receipt but she saw it on the box and found out they forgot to make the Calzone. I was very disappointed because my Wife was the one that wanted to try Marcos, and I can't just say forget it because she can't eat the fiery stuff. I say man, that really stinks, I don't want to wait for it to be made because the rest of the order will get cold. The associate rudely says in a loud voice, Well...I don't know what you want me to do!? Do you want me to make it or not?! She was very irritated, I was not rude or mean, I know stuff happens, she could have turned the situation around by being just a little nice and a tiny bit apologetic. She didn't even apologize? She just said, well, I don't know what happened? What do you want me to do!? I said, well just cancel the whole order. Oh, boy, she was pissed! She said WHAT? Are you SERIOUS? I replied with, I drove all the way from the southside of Savannah To try Marcos...this is my first experience, my first order? She replied with...WELL, YOU HAVE A BLESSED DAY SIR!! In a very smart-aleck way. I have been fighting myself whether or not to contact Marcos but I could not let it go. I looked all over the website for a way to delete my new account but can't find it. I would love to be contacted just for confirmation of how to delete my account. I don't need an apology at this point, I don't think I can go back to that location to face that associate. I should have read the similar reviews before trying a new place. I don't usually patronize a business with less than 4 stars on google. I am a level 7 Google Local Guide with reviews all over the US and I have over 4.4 million photo views. You can see my reviews, they are usually positive, I try really hard not to leave bad reviews but in this case I had no choice. Thank You, good luck achieving more positive experiences with brand new customers. I already filled out the customer experience questionnaire on your...
Read moreComing home late after a full day of parent/teacher conferences, I just wanted a salad and some BBQ wings, so I thought of my neighborhood Marco's. I ordered online - great experience, ready in 15 minutes. I ordered an Italian salad, and was served a lot of lettuce, some chopped cheese, ham and salami and what looked like a whole red onion chopped and thrown on top. I had to remove some of the onion to see the cheese and meat underneath for the photo. The wings looked great when I left the counter, but upon biting into them at home, some were nice and crispy but most were mushy and not crispy. Customer service - there were three girls working the counter, however, one girl was clearly running the show. She did not smile, and she gave a whole lot of attitude to everyone in the room - customers and co-workers at the counter and food preppers at the back. When I arrived, there was no greeting just her pointing at me and asking me, "What's the name?" My wings were done but not the salad, so she disappeared in the back and returned telling a co-worker that the one who does salads wasn't there so they had to pull someone else to do the salad and he did not know how to do salads. Red flag for me right there. She then turned to me and said it would be a minute. It was 5 to 10 minutes, because clearly nothing was prepped to put a salad together quickly and thoughtfully. Lettuce pieces were too big, meat & cheeses had not been pre-cut, and the only other topping was onion, and there was a lot of onion. Clearly no directions in back of what goes on each salad. I won't be troubling Marco's in Berwick again. The cost to value ratio is not in the customer's favor. And, I already had enough attitude for one day that I did not need more when I...
Read moreTake out order. Our first time that we were going to try Marco’s pizza.. The front staff at this Berwick location was rude. Someone forgot to make part of our order and then kept saying what do you want me to do? What do you want me to do? When I go to get pizza, pizzolis and sub sandwich you want it hot. So part of the the order was missing. You don’t want to wait around for them to make the missing part while the rest of the order sits. What i want you to do is be kind and maybe a little apologetic? Things happen, I didn’t have anything to do with why it was forgotten so don’t get mad at me because I don’t want to wait for my food to get cold while you make what you forgot, I wasn’t rude at all, just disappointed. The customer service that was received was extremely disappointing and poor.. we had never tried Marco and we will not be going back . I can’t comment on the food because our order had to be canceled as there was one persons food missing. We took our money elsewhere and got a different dinner this evening. I read Google reviews all the time and the point of this review is to stop the next person from receiving the...
