Mazzy's Sports Bar & Grill (Marietta) — Restaurant in Georgia

I've been a long time customer (over 7 years) of mazzys. I'm so hurt and disappointed that tonight was my last time every at Marietta mazzys. If I could turn this 1 star to a zero star I would. Me and my coworkers were here after work eating, drinking and talking about work. We don't use inappropriate language, we don't talk about vulgar topics, etc. We were the only black people at the front bar with the exception of another regular patrion the staff calls big daddy. I was told that there were complaints about us so we asked the people around us, and they all said we were perfectly fine. The manager then proceeded to blame the only other minority at the bar ( big daddy) for all the complaints. I'm throughly disgusted that the manager would use this tactic knowing good and well it's not true. Again, it is with pain that I write this review. I've been coming to mazzys for over 7 years and will never spend another dime here. I would encourage anyone who reads this review not to come here either. Your long time patronage will not be honored here. The first time the manger has a bad day it will be taken out on you. You will not be able to enjoy yourself at this SPORTS BAR. That's right I said BAR not library. I've never been accused of being loud until tonight. Most people aske me to speak up, but not mazzys management!!! I usually only leave reviews for great service, but this time I'm leaving a bad review for a terrible place. I wish the bartender who knows us would have stood for us at least as much as the people sitting around us did, but she didn't. I'm seriously destroyed about the entire situation. Please enjoy one of the many other bars Marietta has to offer. If you need recommendations please let me know. It is with a heavy heart I implore you never to come here! Terrible last...

Horrible customer service and they are slow to respond to requests even when there are only a few customers within the store.

Seperate pool hall available and tobacco smoking is permitted within the pool hall. Pool hall has it's own bar, jukebox and seperate ventilation, heating and air conditioning than the rest of Mazzy's so the nonsmoking side doesn't have to smell tobacco products.

Last new years, Marijuana smoke smell could be smelled from the pool hall. We reported it to the waiters and they did nothing. Being implicated as a drug user during a Mazzy's new years eve party, by the Cobb County Sherriff's department, is not a fun way to spend the beginning of a new year.

Management stated they were a family friendly establishment. Open drug use within the restaurant doesn't make that a true statement.

It's a decent place to grab a drink and watch the ball drop on the numerous, big screen, LED TV's. If you arrive about an hour early, they will offer you a free, plastic glass of champagne to celebrate the coming of a new year.

Mazzy's has thee locations to choose from. The other two are in Roswell and Kennesaw. The Kennesaw location had fairly decent customer service. The other locations have always been rude and slow.

Poker night is available on most weekends.

Outdoor seating is available on the walkaround porch. The customer service is horrible...

I wouldn't give this place one star. They are extremely racist on all levels, its a racist establishment and the food is terrible. Nothing but cigarettes and racism and favoritism. If you're black, this is a danger zone. You would not feel safe or be safe in this establishment... They let white men treat black women Any kind of way and they don't Face consequences. Favoritism Dishes don't be clean. They serve food on dirty dishes hair be in food and roaches in the bathroom And the kitchen is disgusting.. I would never recommend anyone to this establishment. And the service is poor. 0 stars. I don't care how many black folks go in this establishment.They just want the black dollars ONLY. I don't even see that many black folks in there. And a ones that I do see .They said they wasn't coming back. A lot of People I know white and black warn me about that place and tell me not to go anywhere near because they was racist, even white folks say they racist Cause They was racist towards their black friends.. And their food will make you extremely sick. The bottom reviews Speak for itself they racial profile people. The Manager is Extremely racist. Especially the big fat white guy with the black hair. He needs to use all that racist...
