Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

At 5 a.m., We tried to call in an order for pickup. No one answered the phone. We continued driving and then called again, this time getting an automated message. We arrived a few minutes later, and all 3 workers were sitting down and were on their cellphones. There were no customers inside, so they were not busy. My husband went inside and ordered and asked why they weren't answering. The response given was that Corporate said not to do to go orders anymore because they were not being picked up and so the waitresses had to pay for the orders out of their own pocket. There was about 10 people waiting to order they wouldn't answer the phone for Togo orders.. when I went inside the place was a complete mess all the tables were dirty and they said it was carryout only.. then told everyone to leave because they were closing and not taking anymore orders this was at 11pm.. they literally turned a pregnant woman away.. the couple who walked in just ahead of me the expecting father was so mad.. they weren't friendly and lacked customer service. I'm always excited to share my wife's and myself experience at a restaurant. Here we have a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The staff and chefs are extremely experienced and very well trained. Our meals were prepared to perfection, at the correct temperature, and completely satisfying. The menu is well balanced and within budget. It goes without mention that a return visit is definitely in order. Altogether bravo! Job well done.
