Whataburger — Restaurant in Georgia

I had to update our review from 5 stars to one star. My husband and I made an online order Saturday morning around 0300 hours. We got the offer to buy one medium fry and medium drink and get the Mushroom burger free and added an order or three chicken tenders with gravy and an extra gravy. 1st we ordered the mushroom burger without the sauce, added mustard and raw onions...nope, they gave us the burger without mushrooms, with the sauce, no mustard, and no raw onions. We live forty-five minutes away, our order has NEVER been wrong, the staff appeared to be frustrated and ready for a confrontation, so we just drove off and went home. Yes, dumb decision, we learned, and we will check our order every time, and approach the staff, frustrated or not. Long story short. My husband and I both got food poisoning and our Chihuahua which is taking longer to recover. We gave our Chihuahua one fry; we have been giving him Pepto Bismol as instructed by the veterinarian. Disappointed, and aggravated. It takes one time to turn me away from a restaurant. This is the most hurtful disappointment. We will not be returning any time soon. Maybe if the management and staff become more thoughtful and respectful for the public. I could be a health inspector, FDA member, or the CEO, it shouldn't matter, all consumers should be...

I haven't been here in ages, but I enjoy Whataburger. My go to is usually the patty melt. Their sauces are pretty good as well. A good friend of mine and I would always go here after a football game. One of the more awkward parts was walking in wearing half of a band suit, but it was worth it. If only there were a Whataburger closer to where I live at the moment. Haven't been to this one in a while (I was tempted earlier today), but I don't think I've ever had a bad experience.

Update: I've been to this location several times, but this probably comes about 10 years after my initial post. Still have good experiences here. The Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich is a top contender with the Patty Melt. Besides those two things, I've probably only ordered the #2, but only because of Hank Hill's "endorsement." Not bad, but the Patty Melt and Chicken Strip Sandwich remain my Mainstays. Unfortunately, the banana pudding milkshake has been discontinued. That blackberry Dr. Pepper milkshake isn't worth it in my book. It's OK, but it takes some mental gymnastics to convince yourself that it's OK. There is no burger like a Whataburger and, sadly, this is the only Whataburger anywhere near. Awesome food and the staff is always friendly and efficient.

EDIT: My last visit to this whataburger (on Sept 24, 2016) was horrible. We get there and this woman (I assume she was the manager because she was the only one dressed in a white shirt) rolls her eyes and goes to the register to take our orders. She was very unfriendly, hardly said anything and when my mom asked her whether the cup she threw on the counter was hers, she responded with a very rude, "YEAH". We get our orders and everything was fine when this same rude woman comes to our table and says "something". I had no idea what she was saying and neither did my husband or mother. I day, "excuse me?" and she repeats what sounds like gibberish to all of us. So I tell her I don't understand. She responds by yelling, "Your order right or not???" So I give her a face like she's an idiot (she IS) and say, "Yeah!" and she leaves us alone. Horrible woman. Unfortunate that they hired her because every time we've been here before, they've always been so pleasant. Oh well, I guess no more whataburger for us in...
