We have eaten here for years. Used to always have good food and svc. Over the last 6-8 months we've noticed a huge change. Got a so-so meal with friends about 8 months ago. Then we had a terrible meal about 2 months ago and thought maybe it was a one time thing. Tonight was our anniversary and I asked my husband to take me here for a simple steak dinner. Our night started with asking for new silverware because there was old food stuck all over the silverware they gave me. I ordered the filet, which i have done for years. It arrived very tiny, thin and way overcooked. The rice was dried out like it had been sitting for hours. The sweet potato was overcooked as well, even burnt on the outside. I asked them for another steak as mine was beyond well done. After 30 mins of waiting my husband was done eating. I had been trying to get our waitresses attention for 10 mins to tell her to cancel the steak as we had just decided to leave. CouIdnt find her. I simply sent back the steak when it arrived after 30 mins and asked them to refund my meal. This is the same thing that happened to us a couple months ago, terrible food. After we left my husband said his filet was full of gristle and definitely not the same quality meat we have been getting over the years.

That will be the last time eating at the Thomasville Longhorn for us. The food quality and service have taken a big decline. Time to move on to...

Visited 6Apr24 for a Birthday celebration. Courtney, our waitress was an amazing server! She took our orders, constantly checked on us. A couple of people had problems with their drinks tasting sour (mango margaritas), "she" took the proper steps to fix the problem with no avail. Every body was served their food except for me! I only ordered an appetite. Courtney explained that my food wasn't ready but would be out soon. Basically everybody had eaten their food and was ready to go and I still hadn't received my food! I dont know what happened but the manager was a complete jerk to her (Courtney), when she had no control over the cooks. Although the manager didnt charge me after quickly making my food to go, I still had to pay for my drink...which I think that too should have been on the house! Anyway, great job to "Courtney" for being so kind, courteous and professional! You young lady deserve a raise...cause it was super busy that night and you still maintained while dealing with a full house, a manager who was ugly to you (for no reason) and did your job well!! [Courtney gets 5 stars while I rated the service 3 bc of...

We stopped in after Victorian Christmas. We were told there was a 15 minute wait. Usual. We saw a few people leave while we were waiting. After 25 minutes we were seated. Not too bad. The kicker was all of the empty tables while walking to ours. Our section had nine alone. I asked the hostess what was the reason for such a delay. She stated three large parties (25, 25 and 15) had just left ten minutes ago. I told her we've been there for 25 and that simply was not true as only about 8 people had left while we waited. She just walked away. When we went to order, they were out of several items (not mentioned ahead of time) so it took additional time in placing our order due to having to go back and look at the menu. The waitress was put out with having to wait for a selection and left. She returns 5 minutes later to sarcastically ask, "have you had enough time or should I come back?" We finally received food 57 minutes after arrival. The soup was not very warm. It took twice asking and about 5 minutes to receive ketchup. They were not busy. A lot of side bar talking and not paying attention....

Recently went here again with my father and brothers. As always, the service was great and the meal was excellent. We had a great waitress as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship and the food really amplified the experience. I usually go for the Outlaw. For the sides, I go for the fries and a salad. Their salads are fresh and the fries are well seasoned. I'm no steak connoisseur but that was a good cut of meat. I couldn't believe it wasn't butter each cut from that steak melted in my mouth. It was tender and juicy. All of the flavor was there. I can't continue any further because it'll get me in the mood for another steak and I can't afford that, but I recommend this location. We got there before the evening/night rush so that was great as well. The bread that they serve is great and my younger brother introduced us to the trick of ordering the cinnamon butter. I'm not a huge sweet eater, but boy, was that an excellent choice. Great experience all around.

Went for my birthday ordered a T-bone steak medium well!!! And got what my 9 year old called moooshii. I told the waitress and she acted like I was crazy. They brought the check after I couldn't eat my plate it made me sick to look at it. And put a employee discount on my meal. I then asked for the manager he laughed at the fact my 9 year old said it was moooshii and took the meal off. After he took it off the waitress then ignored us and wouldn't pick up the check. I got up to take the check and she popped off at me and came and took the check out of my hand with a audited.

We were in town visiting family, and we visit town often enough to not have high expectations for sit down places. It wasn't busy but we did a lot of waiting for our party of four. I think the worst part is the presentation of our food. The rest of us had plates portioned to our food but my mom's plate was so large it really allowed us to see just how small the portion size has gotten, while the prices increased Our family joked that this only happens to city folk. That natives get full portions. Otherwise it was a very mediocre visit.
