As of late my experiences with Wendy's as a whole have not been great. However, the experience I had on September 25, 2022, was the icing on the cake. I would give zero stars, but that is not an option. When I first walked into the dining area of the restaurant, I was greeted with trash and an overall dirty dining area. I proceeded to the register to make my order. The cashier Zharai was pleasant with a smile, which was great because you do not see or get that often anymore. However, her great attitude was overshadowed by the nasty and unprofessional attitude of her supervisor, later identified as Bianca. The cashier made a mistake and put that paid cash for my food, but I wanted to pay with my card. I informed her that I had not paid and asked her she could change it so I could pay. As she proceeded to apologize, she turned to get her manager's attention. The manager's nonverbal was nasty and off-putting before she even said a word (i.e., rolling her eyes and breathing hard). She then proceeded to inform the cashier that her cash would be short and walk away. I told the cashier I would go to my car to see if I had cash. I did not. I then went back inside and asked if I could just cancel my order because I no longer wanted the food. The manager said, "either way her cash register will be short". She was not trying to help at all. I asked her if this was the policy and she said yes and that it was not her fault she was understaffed. So Wendy's policy is to steal from staff????? Because if I did not get any food, which I did not, why should the young lady have to pay? I asked for a corporate number, and she said it was on the receipt. It is not. I went home to get cash because I felt bad for the cashier, but when I returned the doors were locked. I will never eat here again. If it is not one thing, it is another, and the manager's attitude is enough for me to say that my hard-earned money will not go here. Read moreThe drive thru was a nightmare, it took 15 min from me getting in line to just the order box and menu, the person taking my order put me on hold 2 times before I could place my order, read back the wrong order twice even though all I got was 6 nuggets and a medium fry. Not difficult or special at all. I get to the window and the employee doesn’t seem to have any idea what’s going on running around doing half tasks and then getting called back for something else, they take my card and leave it in the machine beeping for several minutes, and while it’s beeping to remove the card they nearly throw an order that is very much not mine at me, before I can tell them I didn’t get 8 nuggets and a small fry with different sauces they’re gone again and I pull around to go inside to get the right order. The manager gave me 10 nuggets for my troubles and let me keep the wrong order. The store was so hectic I never got my card back and realized it too late when I got to my destination in SC. I tried to call to verify that was where I lost the card so I can cancel it and they only ever ignored my calls, or put me on hold for over 10 minutes without a single word as to the wait or how busy the store was, and since then the line has been off the hook and I have not been able to reach anyone. 1-2 calls in I was willing to be understanding of how hectic the restaurant was, but after 6+ tries to get in touch with someone now I’m just mad and want to speak to a manager about the disorganization of the restaurant. Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service on the night staff. I went through the drive thru at about 9:45pm. Order 25$ worth of food on one order and 10$ on another order. When i get to the window to pay for my order i ask the customer service attendant at the window if she could place mayonnaise and ketchup in the bag before they passed my order. The young lady referred the request to the runner, the runner then replied "They better gone get the hell out of here" When the young lady at the window returned and asked for the second orders payment. I asked for a refund she asked why. I told her i heard their conversation. The manager then said she didn't care if we heard them and didn't mind giving a refund but didn't come to the window. Instead she had one of her members do it for her. I want to say the individuals here should not work customer service if they didn't like answering questions. It was rude and disrespectful to talk to customers that just chose to come spend money with the company when i passed several restaurants before. I left and went to burger king in the same area and requested the same items and the young lady smiled and did how many. That is how you serve. This was a memorable moment.
