Yesterday I decided to stop by the Wendy's on Scott Blvd although after visiting the N. Druid Hills locations where I was served 6 amazing spicy garlic parmesan nuggets. I thought I would double the experience by stopping at the Scott Blvd location to get 6 more of the same nuggets I had just purchased approximately 45 minutes earlier at the N. Druid Hills Location.
Well the Scott Blvd Wendy's need a serious evaluation here's why.
Ordered Spicy Garlic Nuggets at drive through which showed in the board that the nuggets were $3.39 for 6. I placed the order the drive through cashier told me my order would be $5.28. I asked the cashier how would the order be that amount when the board clearly states $3.39;,by the way the board had the same price at N. Druid Hills ( where the drive through cashier was extremely nice).
The Scott Blvd Cashier brought a person who identified her as the general manager on the intercom who said that the price was coming up as $3.89 in the system which could be because of the taxes are different ( the voice could have been the cashier who made that statement.
The general manager said she would discount the wings to the $3.39 price . I drove around to retrieve my order. The cashier collected my money.
While the cashier (unpleasant ) was collecting my money the general manager was standing behind the cashier at a counter shaking a container which appeared to be the same container my nuggets were in from the North Druid Hills Location. The general manager was shaking the container aggressively and looking at me while doing so.
The general put the container in a bag which the cashier gave to me; I said thank you in a kind manner and pulled away only to stop before leaving the parking lot to taste what I thought would be the same amazing nuggets I received at the N. Druid Hills Location. Well , absolutely not !
The appearance of the nuggets with the sauce looked cloudy and extremely greasy oily substance on the nuggets ( unlike the nuggets at N.Druid Hills which looked vibrant with an actually garlic parmesan sauce which was delicious, spicy and hot in temperature ).
I tasted the nuggets from the Scott Blvd location and could not find that same flavor from the nuggets at N. Druid Hills. The nuggets temperature in my mouth was cold, the sauce was like a waxed film in my throat ( disgusting is an understatement) . A couple of hours later I had to pull over in sprouts parking lot before heading home. I vomited up the food I had been given. I had stomach cramps and felt flushed with heat in body. My hands had turned red. I truly don't know what the GM was shaking in that container of nuggets, but I know they were not freshly cooked and after later looking and comparing the container from the two different Wendy's the garlic parmesan seasoning is what was missing. I was served only the oily substance on my nuggets at the Scott location ( how can the GM be so evil as to serve that to me).
I went to ER where blood test was done and was given a prescription for hyoscyamine and ondansetron to help with the vomiting and diarrhea.
Warning the Scott Blvd Location General Manager will sabotage your food. Don't go to...
Read moreWhoever the manager is that was working on Friday around 7:30pm needs to be retrained. I’m a manager at my job and would never treat customers like this. I come to the window after I placed a Door Dash order that was marked as ready. The manager says I can’t pick up at the window and have to come inside, no problem. I go inside and a young lady ask what I needed. I informed her I was waiting on a door dash order. There are 3 people in the lobby and 4 people working. They were struggling badly with just these few customers. After I tell the young lady I was waiting on my door dash order she walks away. Didn’t say anything, just walked off. I sat down. A young man got his order but was still waiting at the counter for about 10 mins. The manager in a nasty tone asked him what he was waiting on and he replied that they forgot his sauce for his nuggets. This manager says and I quote “you really stood there waiting on sauce instead of saying something?” Then slams it in his hands. He replied “well your demeanor didn’t make me want to approach you so I waited.” After I had sat for 20 mins the manager asked had I been helped. I told her I was still waiting on a door dash order. She asked my name and after I told her my name several times and she continues to call me Becky, Betty, and whatever else she thought she heard. She tells me she doesn’t see my order. I pull it up on the phone and she realizes she mistakenly put the order on the back counter where the fries are made instead of the front counter where the pick up orders go. My order had been sitting there since I walked in. Instead of her apologizing, she makes it seem like her incompetence is my fault. The manager says “I miss the days when people just came in the store and ordered they food instead of this online crap.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I gave her a word of advice, if you don’t want door dash orders then turn off your door dash, simple. This manager is not competent to show leadership and is setting a bad example for the employees working under her. She didn’t own up to any mistakes on their part and when she was caught in those mistakes she took it upon herself to be rude, belittling, and blame the customers. I will NEVER eat at this...
Read moreIt was not my intention to stop at this Wendy's. However due to mechanical failure the car that I was driving had to stop somewhere and it wound up being Wendy's. The staff was very polite and understanding of my situation. They could have easily told me I had to have the vehicle removed from the property because they didn't want oil stains or attention taken off of their store by the car with the hood up and the country white boy waiting impatiently as I was several hours just sitting in the car for my mechanic friend to arrive. I did feel it necessary to purchase something and I ordered a 4 for $4 about noon time and the food was cooked and ready within a couple of minutes nice and hot and fresh. The young women working at this Wendy's location we're all very polite and they don't have the easiest job in the world for smiling at every customer, However they were smiling and not just me but each and every customer that came in they greeted politely and sincerely even though I did witness that they actually had a frustrating issue with their POS system at the time that I was in there. I usually don't stop at Wendy's till you because most of them have lowered their standards to allow individuals who really just want to slack off and secretly sell drugs behind the store, but of all the places that I could have broken down; I'm really glad it was this Wendy's. A comforts me to know that there is still a Wendy's where I can enjoy my meal and feel appreciated by the overworked and underpaid...
