Wendy's — Restaurant in Germantown

Below is my string of reviews based on visits. I'm leaving them all there for people to see. My latest is at the bottom. The TLDR: they used to be horrible. But have improved and are worthy of a visit now!

Love Wendy's food usually, but this particular location is almost always awful unfortunately. Food is cold, fries are stale at times. Definitely hoping it improves.

Update 9/9/2022: Chanced it to go back and grab lunch today. Mistake. Made a mobile order and went in store to pick it up. Didn't wait too long for the food, but upon getting back it was wrong. Went back over and there was a line of people waiting to return orders. Was terrible, and I think this location probably needs a complete restaff. The people in there the last few months don't care a bit. Will not be going back for the foreseeable future. I'm sure that doesn't matter much to a bit corporate entity like Wendy's, but there's my two cents.

10/14/2024: Updating my 1 star review as of today. I've been visiting this location more lately and they've done a staff wipe or something and trained better folks. After years of trying to stay away from eating fast food I decided today that it’s raining and I don’t want to get out of my car and just drive thru somewhere near me and that ended up being Wendy’s on Poplar and West St in Germantown. So I ordered a single w/fries and ice tea combo. The order taker was not very friendly or welcoming. She was busy and short with me stopping me a couple times when I tried to order. I then pulled around and she was scraping the ground with a tray before pulling in took my money never saying thank you or appreciate your business. I drove away and she started scraping the pavement again with the tray. Not sure what that was about. Anyway I live 5 minutes away so as I was driving home I reached in the bag for a couple fries that were cold and tasteless. No seasoning or anything. Got home and the cheeseburger was bland and just dry. I don’t think I’ll ever eat there again because it’s not the Wendy’s I remember from years ago. Service was terrible. Put in mobile order ahead of time. Pulled up to the drive through, and they stated they couldn't find my order in the system. Sat there and kept telling her I have a receipt for it and it's this location. For whatever reason , she kept saying she couldn't find it. I hear a guy in the background , saying it here it is , right here. So all of a sudden she said ok pull around. Rudely. Then I had to pull up after the window because the food wasn't ready which is fine. But I really had nowhere to pull because somebody else was pulled up in front of me waiting for their food. So it was a cluster at the window with all the cars pulled out waiting for food. Rude & just incompetent service. Didn't get a straw for my drink. Got back to work... sandwich wasn't made correctly per my customizations online. Fries were all limp and gross. Took far too long on top of that. Waste of time & money. I do NOT recommend Germantown location. Not my 1st negative experience...
