City Silo Table + Pantry (Germantown) — Restaurant in Germantown

This is a wonderful place. The ambiance is welcoming, clean and modern. As the website promises, the food is not designed to put you into a grease induced coma afterwards. Instead, the burrito I had was filling and well balanced on the palette. It’s the kind of place I wouldn’t mind bringing some work in to accomplish as I eat a brunch. Oh, and they had a nice playlist of music including The Who and Ace of Base :)

Feedback for the restaurant: I didn’t like the regular, filter black coffee. Maybe bad on me for not ordering a fancier coffee such as an espresso, latte or cappuccino. Consider changing your filter coffee to something that’s a little more bold and balanced. Also, the price point for a black filter coffee is a little high. My apologies for not being more specific on the flavor feedback. The barista was more than happy to bring me a cup of steamed milk to turn my coffee into an au lait.) They should also have a “roamer” who asks guests how their meal was and offer coffee refills.

Love the juices! The tempeh taco is so delicious, comes with salsa verde sauce which is tasty also. This place has healthy meal options but very tasty. I appreciate that. Can't wait to try their other juices and smoothies. I had the red beet juice and I can never make it this yummy at home. Ordering online is easy and pick up is also quick and easy. Prices are really affordable! The tacos are less than $7 each. The toasts start at $5 for 1 slice. They have hearty bowls, sandwiches, etc. Lots of diff options and so many drink options also.

Update- I returned and dined in this time. Ordered the same taco & loved it. Tried a cappuccino & that was also made well. Also tried the Azteca tomb tonic, it was fresh. Really love the freshness at this restaurant & definitely my go to when I'm in the area.

I am a very regular costumer especially at the East Memphis location. Food has always been good, fresh and healthy. However service at the Germantown location could be better. I was there with the friend and the waitress who was bringing the coffee comes and puts in the table and leaves. Me and my friend had ordered different type of coffee so I asked which ones was it. She laughed ironically and said she doesn’t know and walked away. Her attitude was overall bad and was pretty obvious she wasn’t in a good mood. Whatever she was brining later on she was throwing on the table. I should have called her manager but it was busy and didn’t want to make any drama. Hope she realizes overtime that in every job professionalism and good manners are very important and her bad attitude will not serve her well...
