Our house is a complicated one...my wife is vegan, I'm not, and our daughter is just plain picky. This used to be our go-to spot because of the customization it offered, but after our last experience, never again.

We ordered via the app last weekend, and when I went to pick up our food, it was clear from the outside the place was a disaster. Customers who had clearly been waiting too long for their orders were standing all over the place, the staff was running around and shouting at each other, and the kitchen was in absolute shambles. Food seemed to be strewn across every surface imaginable (I actually questioned if there was cheese on the ceiling!), and the staff didn't know or care enough to make any attempts at cleaning or sanitizing the space. I've worked in restaurants for 15+ years and I've seen places shutdown for far less.

My order was called about 20 minutes after the time that the app quoted for pick-up, and when I went to the counter the expediter looked like she was about to crumble. She all but threw the pizza boxes at me (who could blame her, she was drowning), and luckily I checked my order because neither of the pizzas I was handed was correct. I managed to get her attention, and was lucky that the person next to me hadn't walked off so we could exchange our orders for the correct ones.

I got home, and the pizzas were meh - about what I expected based on what I saw in the kitchen. My wife's pizza was missing ingredients, but - and here is where I'm truly upset - it contained one ingredient that we definitely DID NOT request. After two slices my vegan wife discovered CHICKEN had been sprinkled randomly all over her pizza! After she ran to the bathroom to vomit out of disgust, all the food went straight in the trash - none of us had much of an appetite after that.

Don't worry, I filed a complaint with the company, and they were kind enough to send me an email-generated apology and coupon for a free pizza (no joke, they want me to come back after this). I'm glad my feedback was taken seriously.

For anyone with dietary restrictions, I wouldn't risk it. For anyone with true allergies, this place is downright DANGEROUS. And for the rest of the people who just want their meal prepared in a kitchen that adheres to basic health and safety standards for food preparation, this is not the...

Newest pizza joint here in the great Gig in the Sky...Mod Pizza! Good business model adopted from places such as Subway, Chipotle, etc., but with pizza as the medium. A true "create your own"style walk-thru style make table where you communicate to the employee (pizza artist?) the size, type of crust, and any toppings you desire then pay and wait until your pie is ready. It is baked in a 540° wood-fired oven and is done surprisingly quick, nevertheless, expect a short wait for your meal. At the time of this posting this Mod Pizza has only Bern here open for 1-2 weeks and has surely been the busiest restaurant in town since that time. The wait in line was about 10-15 mins, which was actually longer than the pizza took to cook so be prepared for it. Overall it was a tasty meal at a reasonable price and provided a great new experience. And just in case you are wondering...the pizza is...

I know things are hard right now. Since COVID hit the customer service has really dropped. Maybe they get too many orders aand not enough help. It's not necessarily the employees fault It's also the online ordering platform. Our order has been very mixed up every time we've used online ordering. Last time we came in we ordered there and the manager seemed spread out too thin trying to manage all the orders and employees. I think she was doing her best. It took over 45 minutes to get our order because they had to remake the pizzas twice! While waiting i went to Qudoba next store got a burrito and had eaten it by the time we finally got our pizzas. We were sent home with our order, plus a couple of burnt pizzas, and coupons for pizza in the future. It's just not worth it to try to get food from...
