Arby's — Restaurant in Gilbert

If you saw my review this was the wrong store my apologies this is meant for the Arby's store on Guadalupe and Gilbert Road in the east valley.

I took a 70-year-old man here who was buying dinner for himself and his partner who is 75 years old who specifically wanted fish and chips from Arbys.

The elder likes the fish and chips from this location even though other fast-food places that serve it specifically.

This Arby's took our order, took about 15 minutes to receive it. Then told us that every Arby's from here to Mars is out of tartar sauce tough luck, we're not going to give you any free fries for the inconvenience of the wait or no tartar sauce or letting you know there was no tartar sauce before you ordered the fish and chips.

The Young manager order taker guy he held himself professionally but he was firm and stern and for that I think as an accommodation a little something extra wouldn't have hurt. In this case it wasn't like we're asking for something for nothing but the real cruelty was for him taking the order. That upset the 70 year old man. He wasn't informed about the tartar sauce before his fish and chips order.

There should be a sign or something up there he said, it's just wrong...

This location is super dated but filled with a very solid core of employees. I can see it with their body language and efforts that they want to do a good job. I had a rather large order and kids all around me so it was very difficult to get everything ordered and paid for because of the attention kids demand. The cashier was very patient and even helped hold the receipt I had to sign after paying since my order was over $20. After the order was placed I went over to find a place to sit and get my kids situated. The food was prepared quickly and delivered right to my table. We will never be eating at this location again their deals are misleading. They give bad customer service because when my partner just went to correct the order cause he wanted a sandwich without cheese, cause he does not like cheese so when he went to correct it after they made a mistake they will not correct it or refund him the money that he spent so I would stay away from this location And I’m very disappointed. They’re saying that I grew up by is the customer is always right in this case, the customer is right the restaurant is wrong. They provided misleading information. It is not very clear in their deal so they need to correct that...
