I'm just going to copy an paste my review from yelp here.
I came in here a few weeks ago and I made a yelp account just so I could review this place. WONDERFUL SERVICE from the counter girl and the manager. I couldn't find the straws so I went back up to the counter, feeling stupid, and asked the young lady there. She smiled all big and pointed them out assuring me that lots of people had problems finding them. (They're in a cut-out in the wall to the left of the pop fountain, by the by.) After I got my drink, I went back to wait near the counter for my food. (A hawaiian fish sandwich with potato cakes!) Within moments the girl at the counter asked the people in the back about my food and informed me that they were just waiting a minute on some hot cakes for me. She struck up a conversation with me and was overall a very warm and friendly person. As soon as my potato cakes were ready, she gave me my order and asked if I needed anything else, I got some tarter sauce that i didn't end up needing because my sandwich was perfect already. Halfway through my meal the manager came out and asked me how everything was. Never been asked that at a fast food joint! I said everything was great and she joked with me for a minute before getting back to work. Only a few other people came in while i was eating but they all got the same treatment as me. After my meal I rang the bell by the door and got "Woo!" in response from both of them.
For the life of me, i can't remember their names. I wish I could because they were both wonderful and they made my day so much brighter. I should have done this sooner so I'd remember. The two of them had very similar names. I think the girl at the counter had red hair under her hat and the manager had brown hair.
My food was great. The service was great. I got my food as fast as anyone could expect with ordering a different side from the default one. Both of the people I dealt with seemed like they really enjoyed their jobs. I would say I'd go back here just for the service, but I live in Mesa and it's a little bit too far for that. If I'm ever in this neighborhood again, I will DEFINITELY be making a point to...
Read moreAfter 40 years of dining out, this is my first review of an Arby's restaurant. And i have to wonder- why did I wait so long? Forty years of eating out makes you realize that some fast food might taste good going in, but a few minutes later the dread of having ingested the meal has settled into both your stomach and your mind. And this is what sets Arby's apart from all other fast food places that serve meats (burgers, chicken, hot dogs, etc) - when you are finished, you actually feel like you ate something reasonably healthy and it doesn't sit like sludge in your stomach!
Today, i had a market sandwich (Turkey Swiss). I also ordered a 2 for $6 special, for which i chose a regular beef & cheddar sandwich and a gyro. Of course, the market fresh sandwich tasted excellent. It was fresh and looked like something i would make at home (if i wasn't so lazy). Only their sandwich tasted better than what i would make. And it was reasonably health ingredients. The traditional Arby's beef and cheddar was my guilty indulgence.. the melted cheese can't be that marvelous for my health, but i let myself believe that the roasted beef is a nutritional counter balance. It was tasty and like i remembered. Finally, the gyro was surprisingly tasty and light. The pita was very fresh, light and fluffy, which i loved. The gyro meat was actually nicely spiced and decently light as well. I really was nicely surprised how good it was.
I recognize that Arby's isn't the same as a gourmet deli, but you really can't complain that a fast food restaurant has made some actual homemade quality sandwiches with their market fresh approach. They are tasty, reasonabky healthy and certainly affordably priced.
On top of the very good food and reasonable prices, the restaurant was recently remodeled, the inside was very clean, the staff was very kind and helpful and the whole experience was very good.
It's been a while since i frequented Arby's, but i will definitely be back. I used to think they were just beef sandwiches, but now i will be back for their market fresh selections. Officially now my favorite...
Read moreWe all decided to get Arby's for dinner. The food is typically a little more expensive than other drive thrus, but well worth it. You get a decent pile of tasty, sliced, roast beef and cheddar sauce fresh and hot, flavored curly fries, milk shakes and the hot apple or cherry turnovers. just all the deliciousness we have come to enjoy and expect! With that being said, at the Marketplace location in Gilbert, Arizona, we (three of us ordered the three double beef and cheddar, 3 regular drinks, 2 milkshakes, 4 turnovers,1 curly fries and one crinkle cut fries for our big dinner, around $60 this Saturday, March 19th, 2022. We got our food and we got ready to hunker down in front of our TV to eat and watch our family, crime show. We were disappointed. My meat and cheese had separated and came out of the bun, it was cold and messy. I put my sandwich back together and all three of us got cold sandwiches and fries, the meat was a visibly smaller amount than we were used to having. It did have a good flavor (so that was great at least), the milk shakes were excellent, and the turnovers were very good too. I think the main part of the meal was disappointing. We had to microwave each order (which was upsetting because we paid enough to get the food hot or at least, warm). It ruined our experience. We were left with the negative feelings and we decided to skip Arbys...
