Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Gilbert

First, I have never had an issue with the food here and usually have great service, but today was one for the record books.

After an hour of waiting for my delivery, I called the store concerned as this as never taken so long before. The manager Zach had a very harsh & rude tone. He explained that there were only 2 drivers and lots of deliveries and I was 5th on the list & I will get it when I get it. When I explained I was on a time crunch, is there a way to get an estimate, he said again, no you can wait or cancel. The issue here is that he was so rude, harsh, his tone was rude & making myself, as a customer, feel bad for just checking on my food that I paid for.

He told me his boss was in the store and couldn't talk but he would have him call me. When I asked if he wanted my number, he said very rudely "No I have it" and then hung up loudly in my ear.

I get that things can become busy and overwhelming, but that is no excuse for taking your frustrations out on your customers. I do hope that I hear from Mark as this interaction with Zach has my blood boiling.

This place is terrible I placed an online order with specific directions for my sandwich saying no tomatoes and onions I ended up getting onions tomatoes and cucumbers and on my wife's sandwich she wanted extra avocados which she didn't get that or the tomatoes and cucumbers so I called to complain about this and the person that answered the phone basically called me a liar and that she made the sandwiches how did she know what sandwiches I was talking about without asking for any information. She expected me to take the sandwiches back to the location which is 4 miles one way so would make it a 16 mile trip for a screwup they did. I am going to go out of my way and not recommend any jimmy johns ever especially this location the girl that made my sandwich was rude and disrespectful she needs to be put on cleaning duty since the place was dirty and...

Had a bad experience at this hole in the wall. I ordered lunch at 12:30 expecting it to be delivered fast since they are 5 mins away, an hour goes by they haven’t came yet so I call to see what’s going on? And they tell me the driver is just now trying to find me 😡 I was so confused like really I ordered an hour ago and he’s barely trying to find my office? I then ask for the manager ask him if he can provide any type of compensation for this mess he tells me no I have to pay full price and he can’t compensate anything I either pay or he’ll have the driver take the food back.
