I am in this establishment often, and there are several things I see on a regular basis that could be improved on.
Firstly, there's several managers there who work with very little urgency. Obviously, drive thru is prioritized as they probably have to keep a consistent window time like most fast food establishments however, it's almost as if they completely disregard lobby orders until there are several at once. I mainly notice this with a younger female manager who's name I do not know. There is always a younger male employee flirting with a younger female employee and I often see them sitting on surfaces near the front counter, or by the area where they expedite the food just chatting away.
On top of this, every morning I am in there there is an older black female manager or employee who is on her phone speaking another language either arguing with whoever she is speaking to, or speaking very loudly and fast while "cleaning the bathrooms". I have seen this on MANY occasions while waiting for food and she doesn't actually do any cleaning. She just walks around between the mensa and women's facilities speaking aggressively to whoever is on the other side of her phone conversation, sometimes on speaker phone.
I notice, when there seem to be higher level visitors within the company they get their act together but there is very little customer service interaction here (or any McDonald's location for that matter). They drop your food on the counter, yell your number and walk away. If you say thank you, you will get zero response 99% if the time. There was a younger gentlemen that said thank you back to me and that surprised me.
Overall, the food here is hit or miss. I have noticed again, when the younger dark-haired, skinny female manager is in charge, the mcmuffins they serve are always rock hard on the edges and due to my teeth problems I am unable to eat them so if I see her working I will leave as I only ever get hard muffins on her shift as she seems to care very little for ensuring the quality of the food going out.
Overall, I'd still suggest this McDonald's to most people as it's no different than most McDonald's and their food quality for the most part is still above average for McDonald's in and around this area. The mornings / breakfast can just be hit or miss several days...
Read moreMcDonald’s is as McDonald’s is as McDonald’s is...nope! If, you have kids and you want to let them run and scream like banshees, then this is your place! A slap hap-happy Place! Because your not going there to get service the food was decent, so drive through might be the best option, but check your order. We ordered at the kiosk, I had to wait at the register to get the drink cups, so why am I ordering at the kiosk 🤔. One of our drinks is tea and for some reason at this McDonald’s the tea is behind the counter. I went to the order pick up area and waited, waited people coming back and forth never looking my way or acknowledgement I was even there. Finally I said “Can I get some iced tea?” And one of the people stepped over, said “sure” and got our tea. Then, when the happy meals came they didn’t have the sauces as requested in the order. My wife went with our granddaughter to get them and they waited 4-5 minutes before someone got them the sauces. I would also suggest you bring your own bussing rag and clean a table for yourself, there were 6-7 open tables on the side away from the kid crazy area and 1 was clean, which we sat at. Still for the time we were there nobody came out to clean tables or the mess on the floor by the exit door.
Update 4/20/20: ok, I thought things might've gotten better at this location...NOPE! Stopped in and picked up two orders of pancakes, oatmeal/fruit and a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit meal. The positives our grandchildren loved the pancakes and the coffee was great! I didn't think you could screw up the BE&C biscuit or the oatmeal but I've been proven wrong. The bacon must have been cooked last night because it tasted of old grease that was reheated and the entire meal was barely warm, so maybe it was made last night. The oatmeal...maybe you should stir it after you add the hotish water to it??? Does McDonald's corporate check these places out? If not, maybe they should! One of the constants over the years and what has made them as successful as they are...consistency from store to store. This Micky- D's is breaking rank...second...
Read moreI like the model of this McDonald's. It's a sleek play where I don't feel like my kids are just climbing on germs. There was a lady before me that was pissed off for the wait on her food. At first I thought it was just a rude customer. I am a General manager at a food place as well so I get a lot of those too. But after I waited over 30 minutes for my 3 kids meals, I realized that they really were taking forever. For taking so long, i thought the food would be hot and fresh, but the burger tasted so old and almost cold. The bun was stale. They forgot the rsnch for my kids nuggets. Then they asked if the kids meal was for boy or girl, i said 2 boys and 1 girl amd they gave me all boy toys. If they werent going to actually read ticmets, why bother asking? There were quite a bit of employees working and there were only about 4 families in the dining room. So i cant imagine why everything was so bad. The manager was yelling at her employees "I need this food!" "Hurry up!" I work at a stressful, fast paced environment as well and leading your team with that level of stress does not help the productivity of employees. If anything, it trickles down And stresses out the employees causing poor performance. There was a guy working there that was on his phone behind the counter then left, and came back with an energy drink still on his phone and behind the counter. I have learned that perception is everything and that doesn't give the customer a good perception. I was tempted to ask for a refund, but because I work in the same type of environment, I just let it go. Not imoressed AT ALL with...
