(I'm going to preface this by saying this rating is not about the food quality, or taste, just the atrocious customer service at this particular location.)
I LOVE Rubio's, its one of my all time favorite places for dinner. When the Signal Butte location closed, I was forced to get my fix at the Power and Ray location. I have been here 5 times. I get the same thing every time: Costal Trio, keto style, NO CABBAGE.
The first time I ordered from here was on the app. Went to pick up the food, and there's cabbage on it. Now I'm forced to wait for them to remake my food, which negates the point of pre-ordering.
The next 2 times, I decide to order inside, to-go. I very specifically tell the girl NO CABBAGE. Guess what?! Both times I had to wait for my food to be made TWICE, because they put cabbage on and have to remake it.
The 4th time I went it was actually correct and my husband and I went straight from Rubios to go by a lotto ticket, because it was obviously my lucky day.
With my hopes high, we went in this past Saturday for date night. Surprise, surprise, ofc it's WRONG. Absolutely LOADED with cabbage! I am so sick of having to wait 20 minutes for something that they can never get right. Not once has anyone ever apologized. Not once have we ever been offered chips or a drink while I wait for them to re-make their screw up. (For those that don't know, it takes awhile to make because of the keto tortillas.) I don't understand how leaving off an ingredient is so beyond the capability of any employee there. I've never made a scene, never gotten mad, but I'm almost to the point of tears that I have to always wait twice. It's like my own terrible version of "Groundhog Day" every time I go here.
Zero accountability, zero customer service. Zero times I'm ever going back to...
Read moreFirst of all I want to say I have never left a bad restaurant review. Secondly I understand a restaurant can have an off night, but this visit has me wondering if I should call the county health inspectors.
We waited more than 40 minutes for our food, it arrived completely cold. The beans were not even hot enough to melt shredded cheese, chicken was room temperature and clearly served after some period of time in the danger zone. I was offered a refund, was not offered to remake the food properly so I took the refund and threw the potentially unsafe food away. I go to the men's room to wash my hands and noticed the floor was wet, and thought nothing of it until I realized as soon as you flush the urinal the entire men's room floor floods with urine. To top it off there is no soap and no paper towels. I tell the same staff that refunded my order and the employee just sort of looked at me so I said "These are major heath code violations" to which they replied "You'll have to talk to someone way higher up than me about this"... hopefully they shut down the bathroom before more urine was tracked all over the restaurant floor.
I'll never go back to this location, giving it 2 stars on service because I was able to at least get $26 of my $48...
Read morePlease fix your toilet dispenser in the women's restroom and get a purse hook! One of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants do not have a purse hook in the restroom! Also, the toilet dispenser doesn't allow you to actually get any toilet paper out except for one square at a time with a huge effort! It's ridiculous! Someone actually placed a roll on the back of the toilet (probably a worker) because they know how impossible it is to get toilet paper out. It's unsanitary!
We arrived at 11:05. This place is supposed to open at 11:00 but the doors were locked. As we tried to get in someone realized it and then came and opened it a minute later. We ordered our food. Went and got sauces. And ate our food. All the while. There was a pretty large area that had pretty wet floor. It looked like maybe someone spilled something and it's right where everyone walks through after ordering their food to go sit down, at the end of the meal I went to get a to-go box and informed the girl that the floor was wet and she said yeah we just normally let it dry! Okay!? That is a complete hazard... I think she could tell I didn't like that response so then went and put a wet floor caution cone up... So she was fully aware that it was wet but really...
