In the Season of The COVID - where the disease is having a resurgence in the nation as well as the state of AZ - HalloweenTown treats social responsibility as more of a suggestion than a requirement. This goes beyond pricing and valued paid. This is is an absolute nightmare in the most ghoulish sentiments of negligence. The crowd control for entrance, food and rides/games is disorganized at best. Their feign of public health and safety starts at the entrance when they take your temperature - of the hand (a limb thatās the furthest from the core making it the coldest) and the Covid induced terror accelerates from there. For whatever reason they decide to give wristbands 3 feet away from the cashiers (instead of having the cashiers hand them out) which created confusion with who had paid and who didnāt. As soon as my CC was accepted I turned around and another family was shoulder to shoulder with me. An unnerving Halloween Haunt I did not appreciate. From there we navigated through a decent pumpkin patch into the small condensed fair. The horror that was exposed before our very eyes was something that of visions of hospital vacations and burials of loved ones. It was overpacked with people (some donning COVID masks while others didnāt). Lines where intercepting others lines across their food court, bargain basement amusement rides and games. This indeed sent a shiver down my spine as I couldnāt help but fathom the dread of people gathering at this volume - more over having the state of AZ carelessly allow this incoherent disregard of current events to happen! I couldnāt help but catch a glimpse of a ride operator standing without a mask while a dozen or so patrons incoherently enjoy the ride. The value for the price paid is inconsequential compared to the absolute disregard this event has for the safety of the community. How does the state allow this belligerence? I may never know. I high tailed it out of there with my loved ones and didnāt look back. For the Neanderthals that embrace this behavior- I say, āHave at itā. This event is thinning out the population. We need more room on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had high hopes, which is probably why I was SO disappointed. We live locally and decided to stop by. Admission was affordable ($5 for anyone 3 and up) for my husband and our 2 kids it was a total of $10. We bought a wristband for the eldest and tickets for the one year old totaling $55. Upon buying the wristband I asked staff should I just get tickets or can my eldest ride everything . They assured me my eldest can ride everything and my youngest will have PLENTY TO DO. THEY very much lied. My youngest could ride 1 ride and try bouncy houses. Overall there is 8 rides that are VERY minimal simplex activities, my children were ready to go within an hour. We gave our tickets away because my youngest daughter was denied every ride except the carousel.
The entrance staff were nice but everyone else didnāt seem to know what they were doing and seemed quite questionable. Some were rude and barely had communicative skills. They sometimes would just look and say NOTHING. We had staff debate about a price and size of a pumpkin to the point we just left it. We constantly ran into issues with rude staff or staff that bluntly just didnāt know what they were doing. The whole thing was disorganized and not worth my money, eventually I asked for a refund. The owner was nice but you could tell it was only for me not to get a refund.
The vendors were friendly and the food smelled good but they lack timeliness, we waited over 30 minutes for funnel cake and ran into issues with our beverages.
Very very sad and disappointing, Mothers nature farm is far more affordable and more accessible and...

I called ahead to see what was included in the general admission and was told there was more than just bouncy houses for kiddos. Though this is technically true, it was a total bust.
We walked around the property in less than 10 minutes and we're done. The "maze" is geared towards kids 3 and under and is as big as(or smaller than) my living room. The art area you have to pay credits to get the craft kits. The character meet was only a single character. The night we went it was TinkerBell and she was great but if your kid doesn't know TinkerBell your SOL.
Every ride cost at least $4/person to ride and the "pumpkin patch" was a little area with hay bales you walked through at the entrance.
I will say the bouncy houses were cute and fun and had varied types which was nice but because everything else cost money they were so busy it was hard to keep track of my kiddos, and we went on a week night.
They did not have a 2 and under bouncy house so any little kids will be on the same bouncy houses as bigger kids double to triple their size. Luckily my daughter can hold her own or we would have left with her in tears from how hard the other kids were jumping.
Staff at the gate was helpful in getting our admission and bracelets to get in. The staff inside didn't seem to be very informed on the patch, where things were located or what was included in each pass.
This pumpkin patch is a waste of time if you don't buy the ride pass. We wished we would have spent our time and money at a different...
