What a great experience! My husband and I went to several of the other furniture decor stores in the area today looking for affordable dining room chairs that weren't so generic. A lot of chairs we were seeing were $200+ and boring. Not to mention the sales people were either all over you or ignored you. We decided to try World Market before going home and I am SO glad we did!!! Not only did we find the perfect (and affordable!!) chairs, the customer service was above and beyond. I really wish I got the names of the employees but every single one displayed astounding customer service, especially for working on a holiday! From the sales associate who actually had great advice on how to mix and match the chairs, to the gentleman who got them down for us AND helped us get everything to the car, and the girl at the register, seriously amazing!!! I changed my mind at least 3 times and instead of being annoyed they were very jovial and created a very satisfying buying experience. I will be back! ...

I was in store on Sunday and was going to buy $265 worth of merchandise.
I applied for the credit card at the register and they sent me the link via text. Then when I clicked on it it said this.....
"Key: sHbJOu for Domain: https://cmty.cm does not map to a URL"
The store manager (Diane or Diana?) did everything she could to help me but every link she sent did the same thing. I ended up having to leave and abandon my items. It was very embarrassing & they had to open 2 more registers to combat the back up it caused at the register.
So I thought emailing World Market directly might help. NOPE! They just sent me copy pasted instructions on how to use my 20% off coupon WHICH EXPIRES today?!

Read moreI went in there for a specific product that was on their website and couldn't find it so I asked a lady, her name started with an L, (so I don't cause too much ruckus) She seemed completely put off that I asked her anything, she referred me to a completely wrong area the first time. The second time after I pulled it up on my app she just briefly pointed me in the right direction that I told her I had already looked. The third time I just gave her my cart and said I'll go someplace else. How hard would it have been to say a let me look it up real quick or be I'm too busy could another associate help you?
