I hate having to resort to Google, especially because I love the SanTan & 202 location and the ease of ordering my drink ahead on my app. My whole office comes to this location daily and everyone was shocked after finding a rusty and gunky piece of their coffee maker in my drink, I was seriously disgusted and disappointed. After years in food service and as a barista myself, I know how important it is to maintain the cleanliness of your shop and machines, and to make sure all equipment is functional (to avoid customers having choking hazards in their beverage). Not to mention how the piece was sooo dirty, but one can imagine the type of bacteria that builds up on coffee makers when not cleaned properly. Just the situation alone was upsetting, but I have to say their response was unacceptable. I called in and the barista I spoke with acted like I was some crazy person and didn’t sound like she believed me until I told her I was a barista and described what part was in my drink that morning. She gave me a number to send photos to, and when she saw them she then apologized. Finally, I asked for my drink to be remade -since she didn’t offer - and all she said was “we’ll make it right”. I never got another beverage (which I needed my triple shot SO badly that day to ease my headache) and didn’t know what to do with her just saying “we’ll make it right”. So I waited til the end of business day, and heard nothing. Like I said, I worked for a competitor coffee shop, and if this happened to my team, we would have handled it completely differently, even if that meant delivering a fresh cup!! My office is literally 1 mile down the street and I sat there all day waiting for it to be “made right”. So I decide to reach out to corporate after hearing nothing further from the SanTan & 202 (Starbucks, why do you make it so hard to raise this issue to your attention?) I looked for a number on google and didn’t find an option that didn’t direct me to an FAQ page so I went to my app and reached out to customer service explaining my situation. I get an email back a day later basically with them saying in a nutshell “here’s 25 bucks on your account, sorry that happened”.... That’s it!? Throw money at the problem and hope they continue to spend money at your chain? Seriously, I just wanted a cup of coffee THAT DAY for my head ache. I wanted you to be aware I could have cracked my teeth on this piece. I wanted you be aware that people can get SICK from not properly cleaning out your machines and food born bacteria. Aside from opening/closing your machines properly and in a clean manner, please make it easier to report these...
Read moreI am super frustrated with my experience at Starbucks. I waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes where the cars barely moved so I decided to do a mobile order in the drive through to help the line go by quicker so they didn’t have to put in my order and charge my card which said my order would be ready in 6-8 minutes then another 10 minutes until I got to the drive thru screen. When I got to the screen they told me “I don’t know if you’re mobile order will be done by the time you get to the window” and I asked why it wouldn’t be done since I ordered it while waiting in this long line, and if I ordered it at the screen it would be done, and they ignored me.
Then another 20 just to get to the window. So when I got to the drive thru window they gave me my 2 frappes but told me I had to wait on the side until the “15 hot drinks are done since they are ahead of me” which makes no sense because people ahead of me in the drive thru line got there hot drinks and I ordered far in advance.
They told me that I have to wait my turn but at this point I had been waiting almost 40 minutes in the drive through line. They refused to make my one hot chocolate and I had to wait another 15 minutes for my hot chocolate.
At this point I had not gotten any apologies instead I got a watered 2 down frappe, and a hot chocolate without whip cream. The hot chocolate tastes like water and the frappe literally taste like nothing but whip cream. 17$ for terrible service and drinks. Honestly very...
Read moreI love Starbucks… the brand is in every household and for me the best addiction. However, what is disturbing is the level of customer service of this particular Starbucks. I travel the world for vacation and business and I’ve never encountered such lack of consideration and respect as I had at this particular Starbucks. Visiting with my friend we ordered and sat down for conversation waiting for my name to be called. My back wasn’t toward the pick up area so naturally, I expected to be called as other Starbucks would do. We weren’t speaking loud, the music wasn’t loud so it is clear, we both would have heard my name called.. We did not.. it was by coincidence that my friend saw beverages on the pick up counter and suggested that I should go see if it was ours… I asked one of the employees if the beverages was ours and I was asked ‘what’s the name on it?’ Normally, I wouldn’t touch anything that isn’t mine.. it could have been someone else’s but it was my order.. my name was on the order.. I said oh yes it’s mine, you didn’t let me know it was ready. When the smart reply was, ‘you should have listened’.. I asked him to repeat himself and he then said ‘ you were called’ with his back towards me.. Now.. I believe wholeheartedly in great customer service and providing people with a great experience no matter who they are and what they look like.. This will definitely be my last visit to this particular Starbucks. I am serious about having a great experience with respect....
