Worst service I think I have ever experienced. I ordered a “Chop Burger, medium, with blue cheese, add sautéed onions and mushrooms. I got a bison burger with cheddar, no onions or mushrooms. Brittany was quick, 5 minutes, to bring me a side of blue cheese, mushrooms and sautéed onions. My coworker ordered “goat burger” add mushrooms and bacon. My other coworker ordered a filet with mushrooms and sautéed onions, and a Caesar salad. Caesar salad came out first and so drenched in Caesar dressing it was not edible. Everything else came out after. Coworker number 1 received a beef burger with cheddar cheese lettuce and onions. He informed Brittany of the mistake and she informed him that she would return with goat cheese spread. He informed her that he ordered a “goat burger” and received a “chop burger.” Brittany made up some mumbo jumbo about new cooks and passed the blame. Maybe Brittany should have written the order down so as not to mix it up or make mistakes. Brittany did say that she would make another burger for my coworker. A few minutes later she came back to the table and said that all three meals would be comped for the series of mess ups. At this point, I’m certain she could sense the frustrations in our voices. We, all three, stayed very cordial and polite. A few minutes after returning the chop burger Brittany came back to the table and explained with a smile that “we are out of goat burgers and the cooks didn’t tell me, they just replaced it with the chop burger, so what else would you like instead?” My coworker ordered a chop burger with bison, side of goat cheese spread add bacon and mushrooms. About 20 minutes later his chop burger came out exactly like he ordered it with all of the same ingredients from the Goat burger except calling it a chop burger…. SMH. Coworker #2 asked for a filet remember. She stated she wanted it medium. When she cut into it blood ran across the plate onto her mushrooms. She politely said she would like to return it to be cooked to medium not mooing. The filet came back much more thoroughly cooked but now without any mushrooms. Whatever, she got her steak eventually. Anyways the checks came, as we were all paying separate, and Brittany explained that she couldn’t comp the whole meal so she would give us the military discount. My chop burger and a shrimp appetizer was $32.00. Coworker #2’s filet, 2 sides, Caesar salad, and an appetizer was $30.00. Coworker #1’s chop burger alone was $45.00. I’m not real good at math but I think he paid for both burgers and 2 add ons of bacon and mushrooms. We never got to talk to a manager to figure out what the hell was going on. We just paid our tabs and left. Would not recommend this place if you end up with Brittany as your server, or maybe it was the...
Read moreDo not recommend. We shared the COTE DE BOEUF for two. Ordered our steak medium rare, each got a salad, and the picked out 3 sides. For our sides we went with some wild rice, mac and cheese and Au Gratin Potatoes. This was between 5pm-6pm. While we waited we had the Spinach Dip. The spinach dip was fair, but the chips were not the greatest. They appeared to be made in house? Normally not a bad thing, but these were very soft, too oily. The chips folded while trying to dip. When the main course came out, there were 4 waitresses. Our main server, had a small table they set up next to ours and put the steak on some hot plate with oil. Added some garlic. Starts to sizzle, looks pretty good... Next the plate gets set on the table. We quickly pulled the steak off because our medium rare steak is now well done and dripping in oil. My wife's silk blouse has oil splattered all over it. We will see tonight in she was able to save it... The steak was now well done, and very flavorless. As bland as possible. Our wild rice was hard and overcooked. The potatoes were dry, and had very little cheese on them. The mac and cheese was ok - but felt like it was reheated (unverified). It came on the plate in the shape of an ice cream scoop and had hard edges. Our crown and coke drinks came in a short glass, that was half full of ice. $10 per drink...during happy hour. We specifically asked about the drinks and we were told like the appetizers, they would be 1/2 off. After disappointing our meal we went out to vent over more drinks. They were tall glasses with little ice and poured strong. $5 EACH - NOT HAPPY HOUR. This was our second attempt to enjoy this local fine dining establishment...and also our last. Go to Prime Rib or The Rail Yard Bar & Grille if in the...
Read moreWe decided to give this place another try after about a six-month hiatus due to mediocre food but high prices. It was Friday, Dec. 22, at about 2:00 p.m., and we requested the bar, which was packed, to watch the bowl game. Our water with lemon came quickly, and it was mostly downhill from then on. After placing our order, we waited 45 minutes before our food arrived, and had to wait another ten minutes before wait staff provided us with utensils/napkins. My clam chowder soup was good. The fish of my fish and chips was tasteless and not fresh, kind of almost fishy-tasting. The french fries were greasy, tasteless and just plain awful, and I had to wait over 30 minutes for the Ranch dressing after requesting it three different times from three different wait staff. My husband's chopped salad was not chopped at all, was wilted and looked and tasted unappetizing, appeared deficient in toppings, no dressing, and all served on a dirty-looking plate. Our waiter went missing for the duration of our meal, about 35 minutes, and we never saw him again until he served our bill. When we complained to him about the food, he just offered a plethora of excuses and never offered to discount or comp our meal. He had the manager come out and she did discount our meal. When we were walking out, the dining room was empty and was full of uncleared tables with dirty dishes. This was a really bad dining experience for us and put a cloud over an otherwise lovely Friday afternoon. So disappointing. We're done giving this...
