I had lunch at Gilroy and Noodle recently. The food was excellent. I had pho and the portions were large. The prices are very reasonable and currently for certain groups they give you 25% off, including seniors. This is a great addition to Gilroy. All new restaurants have growing pains……I’m only going to mention this to enlighten the owners…..I entered after 10 minutes and I had to ask if a person would take my order the young man said yes. After another 6 minutes I had to remind him again I am ready to order. Soon a waitress took my order. I ordered a number 7 rare beef and asked for the meat on the side…..she struggled to understand…..after I received my order I understood why she struggled understanding. She brought me a number 6 with cooked oxtails. In a #7 the meat is very thinly sliced and is rare beef. I wanted to cook the meat in my soup so the meat is cooked rare. Read moreCute restaurant. I love pho, so I thought id see what theirs is about. Broth was decent, a little more oily than what im used to, but the rare beef was pretty tasty. Definitely not worth the price. I got beef pho and a order of spring rolls ..(Mind you I had to purchase the full order because they dont do half orders for spring rolls- which is normally 2) . Just the soup & spring rolls alone was $30. Service was mid. I had to ask for water refills when the place was nearly empty.
