Five Guys — Restaurant in Glastonbury

Super disappointing service today. Usually we love five guys but it seems like the quality has gotten worse along with their customer service. Burgers are made plain and you have to order any extra toppings. My boyfriend ordered his burger with mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes. But the lady made his burger with pickles (he’s allergic) which is weird considering nowhere did it say pickles on the order. He politely asked for a remake and the lady didn’t even ask what his actual order was, just walked away and told her male coworker to make it. We sat there for 10 minutes when the guy asked us, and 2 other customers what we were waiting for. When the woman heard that she came around the corner and said “are you making his sandwich” to which he replied “what sandwich?” She then threw her head back in annoyance and just walked away again. Then the guy asked my boyfriend what his order was and my bf just asked for a refund. He just refunded the burger as if we didn’t have to sit there for 20 minutes and was served a burger we couldn’t even eat. I’m kind of disgusted with how unprofessional they were and how they didn’t take his allergy seriously. Complete waste of...

My family and I visited on 10/20/2018. It was my first time here. Highly recommend by my Nephew's and their friends. It was my Sister's Birthday and since party with us was minors we stopped in . Since My Husband,Brother and myself never been here didn't know what to expect. First thing is the menu is a tad confusing . My Nephew,Husband and I had the little CheeseBurger with combo upgrades. When we got the order was not all together we had drinks but no fries which my Nephew ranted about highly but not a dealbreaker but was not happy had to pay for 3 orders of fries that were supposed to be part of the combo and by the time we gotten our fries and finally ate my Little Cheeseburger it was colder then ice . I did get a apology but not happy with service or the coldness of food . Would of asked for a new one but The party I was with were almost finished with their food since we split the party of 10 into 3 orders. Honestly when this five guys first opened it was amazing. However as of recently this five guys only consists of people that obviously have no clue what they're doing. I ordered a very simple little bacon burger with lettuce ketchup grilled onions and my mother order a little bacon cheese burger all the way. First of all they put the wrong stickers on the burgers. Secondly they put cheese even though I specifically said no cheese as well as corrected the cashier when she accidently clicked little bacon cheese burger. I went back in to let them know of their mistake and the lady I told was very confused as to what the problem is even though I clearly stated it. She was no help so someone else came to speak to me. They then made over my burger but forgot to put bacon on it. Honestly I should've checked it while I was there but as someone who works in the food service industry I would assume the mistake would simply be corrected and everything would be fine.
