I recently ordered from Gyro love for the first time, and was very happy with the meals I ordered. I ordered the grilled chicken gyro, the hummus and falafel plate, grilled vegetable plate, and the grilled chicken and rice. as soon as I arrived to pick up my order, I was greeted by Marcel, who was very friendly and polite and welcoming. As he was preparing my order to go, he made me feel welcome by providing a space out of the pickup line to stand, and letting me try some of their delicious recently made bread. I had traveled 25 minutes to try this restaurant, as there is no Greek or Middle Eastern food near me. It is one of my favorite cuisines, and I was looking forward to trying their restaurant. we enjoyed all of the food very much, the grilled chicken gyro was a stand out! Packed just right fresh, tasty chicken, fries, veggies and the bread was very fresh. The exception was the falafel, which I found a bit dried out, but still had a nice flavor. The hummus was creamy, and had a nice flavor, and the seasoning on the grilled vegetables was just right. I think the value for the meals is appropriate, and we enjoyed at least two meals out of what we ordered. particular attention should be given to Marcel, who was wonderful from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Will definitely...
Read moreNot s bad place, I had a chicken gyro and I gotta say it was pleased inspite of the price, however, and this is unforgivable, I got the buy one get one free platter where you get three shrimps, two lamp chops, gyro chicken and gyro meat, with hummus and baba, and some grilled veggies (which were good) yet when I got my platter I got one piece of shrimp on each, and one lamb chop for each (at this point you're just being cheap and that's uncalled for) I've seen this tactic by restaurants before, it's lame. I would also warn people about ordering the hummus and baba, THEY WILL GIVE YOU ONE PIECE OF BREAD, that's it's. It's common sense for many places to give you three slices or atleast two and they will slice it in half for you. This place is pretty good with the food but when it comes to pricing, skimping the customers on food quantity should be the last thing on their minds. They owe me two lamb chops and 4...
Read moreAfter a long day of traveling, we checked into the Hilton and walked over to the nearby shopping center. Husband was “starving,” and we chose Gyro Love (shared space with a pizza spot.)
The Owner was extremely friendly and brought out an appetizer plate to satiate us while we waited. Really creamy, flavorful hummus and crispy garlic herb bread.
We had the garlic shrimp and grilled chicken platters. They’re enormous! Enough food for 2 meals; saffron infused rice pilaf, grilled onions, charred tomatoes, herbaceous tzatziki sauce, more hummus, peppers, zucchini and proteins. Insanely satisfying, pretty healthy and ready in less than 10 minutes.
The Owner was kind enough to let us try the baklava since we’re visiting and I’d highly recommend! It was the perfect post meal touch of sweetness. Flaky layers with crunchy nuts and sticky honey.
Great option for takeout / casual sit down for anyone...
