I would give it a below one star if it allowed me. The waitress was extremely rude from the time she asked for our drinks to the end. The place had dirty tables when we walked in. It wasn't all that busy. We ordered an appetizer that was put on our table without any regards to that we didn't have anything that we asked for our appetizer... no ketchup or ranch dressing we had asked for. We timed it and it took over 7 minutes from the time we timed them (not including the time we had waited since the appetizer was put on our table) for them to ask if we need anything (so about 12 minutes or so)... So yes it was cold by the time we got our condiments to eat our appetizer with. Not once did the waitress stopped by to ask if there was anything we needed. However, watching the waitress going over to the other tables, she was smiling and giving them all the customer service. I'm a very patient person but when I see someone treating a customer differently versus others... then I have a big issue with it. It was very clear she had an 'issue' with us (for some odd reason). May need some review on customer service... cause she needed a lesson or get a job behind close doors (not customer facing) cause her attitude stunk. After I told her about waiting for so long and we couldn't eat the appetizer, you could tell she didn't care. She didn't try one bit to apologize for her inconsideration and service. It ended with her putting the ticket on our table and turning her back and walking away while talking... again being rude.

Stay away from this place. My friend took us here cause it was 'good' as he recalled. First impressions count and it takes only one of your staff members to ruin it and I guarantee that I will make sure that no one else that I know will come...

I started visiting with my great aunt back in the 90s, I have stopped in when I go through the area on and off over the years, and it hasn't been good. The portion sizes have gotten smaller and smaller. The quality has declined as well. We ordered fish and chips which had always been a win since I was 6. After 33 years I can promise I won't order it again. I asked if it would be soggy or crunchy and was told it depends on the cook but they could make them crunchier if asked. So I did. The fish that arrived was four fish sticks sized portions, the breading tasted good but the fish inside was flavorless and very disappointing. The fries barely covered the bottom of the baskets the fish was in. This is a huge departure from the big tasty fillets and huge baskets of fries, that I have known over the years. We also ordered a full order of mushrooms and it seemed like half of what I have ever got in the past. Plus two root beers. For 60$ I expected a meal that was at least good. Great is a lot to ask for these days, but it was such a disappointment. Killed my great aunts visit memories for me. I hope the food gets better and portion sizes match in the future for other customers. Such a bummer. Really... I used to really love this place. It's 2024 and 60 is a lot of money now, so for thirty bucks a person, to eat fish sticks not fillets, I just am let down that this is what our money is receiving. The service was rather poor. Our waiter did not bring anything without us asking multiple times. A party member showed up later and never got a water until he asked. I asked for a refill at the same time of my water and it never came until I asked him again 8 minutes later, after the waiter was done joking and chit chatting with another table for some time. I have no issue with joking and chit chatting, but it should not come at the expense of the service to other tables.

I ordered the fish fry, and the waiter brought me ribs. This is something he should have caught at the window. So everyone had their food at my table before me, no biggie, accidents happen. Then they bring be the fish fillets, which are somehow burnt on the outside but ice cold in the center! I couldn't actually bite all the way through one of them, because it was legitimately still frozen. I waited over 15 minutes with no food while my table ate and then they all had to watch me eat alone. I went with my girlfriend and her parents, who have been Alfie's patrons for over 30 years, even at the old location. They said it was also the worst service they've ever had here.

I eventually got edible food, and it was fine when it came. No offer of comp for an appetizer or my fish was offered, and honestly I'm not usually one to think I deserve something like that but tonight I feel it was warranted. I'm giving them 2 stars instead of one because previous experiences have been average but not exceptional, and but nothing ever as...
