All I can really say is WOW.
This is quite possibly the greatest escape room place that I have ever visited. I came in with my girlfriend and her family and we did both the Game Master and Double Agent rooms (you can bet that we're coming back and doing the Asylum and anything new that they come out with next).
The level of care that the owner and his staff put into this place is clear as day from the moment that you walk in. The place is well maintained and you feel like you're walking into a hotel lobby when you get in. They have neat little puzzles that you can work on if you get there early and are pretty lenient with the schedule as well (they let us go into the room early).
The quality of the rooms is absolutely incredible. I don't want to spoil much so I won't go into the nitty gritty of the rooms, but I can speak for the quality of the puzzles and the rooms themselves.
In regards to the quality of the puzzles, they are extremely well thought out. When the owner was creating these rooms, he clearly didn't stoop to the level of similar escape room companies. There aren't many (if any at all from what I recall) dumb math puzzles or generic puzzles of that sort. Every single puzzle I did in both those rooms was a completely new experience and something that I had never done before because they correlated to the room itself.
That leads me to the quality of the rooms themselves, every room was unique and all the puzzles were personalized to the room. I'm a gamer myself, so the Game Master room was a real treat and Double Agent was just awesome in it of itself because of a fantastic and original twist that the owner put in (you'll have to visit and find out what it is for yourself, but trust me, it's worth it). Every room followed its theme incredibly, and you truly felt immersed in the story that was presented to you.
Furthermore, I don't even want to begin to think about the technical side of these rooms, as the quality and innovative technology that is used blew me away. There were things in these rooms that I had never seen, or could honestly even really think of given the opportunity.
I also want to talk about the owner a bit, because he is incredible. From the moment we stepped in, he was there to greet us. You can tell he really cares about the company he's created, and that's why you immediately get that satisfactory small business vibe when you walk in. He's a really interesting guy as well, and does the coding himself and even involves his staff in the brainstorming and creation of new rooms!
Tl;dr: I would recommend this escape room company to anybody and everybody. This place is state of the art through and through, and has a much appreciated small business feel to it that you can't really get anywhere else. The quality of the rooms is the best I've ever experienced (and I've done quite a bit of them). All the rooms and puzzles feel completely original, and you even feel immersed in the story itself. Honestly, the two rooms we did are the first escape rooms I've considered doing again, that's how...
Read moreThis was my third attempt at an escape room. Overall this was a good establishment. There really wasn't anything that blew my mind away about the experience. Unfortunately I can't not have to compare this with my mall of America experience.
I felt like the room we did (asylum) was under decorated. Having this room adjacent to an outside window took away from the experience. It was morning and the sun was shining in through the curtains. The back story for the room could be improved as it did not really pertain to anything or make us feel like we were outside of the real world.
The puzzles were tough and we didn't end up completing it. These are always such a good time though no matter what. If I had some suggestions for the owner- maybe add some eerie music and make the room completely separate from the outside world. An escape room for me is just that ( an escape from reality).
Also one thing that really made me give this four stars was the quality of the props in the room. My friends and I struggled with one of the longer puzzles because the Velcro had been used some much it was hard for us the do it. Again, a suggestion for ownership would be to periodically check the rooms and replace worn out items.
I would recommend though!...
Read moreSeven of my friends and I recently participated in the Game Master escape room. It was a blast, and we made it out with almost 8 min to spare! Our host, Sarah, was amazing. She was polite and friendly but very enthusiastic, as well. There is some parking in front of the plaza where the rooms are located, but you can also park in the back. There are no lockers on-site, but there are hooks for coats. You are allowed to take wallets, phones, keys, etc. inside the room with you, but you cannot use them, so my advice is to take only what you need. My only complaint is that I did try to contact this business via email (through their website), and I tried texting a question to the number listed (texting was an option specified on the voicemail msg), and I don't believe I received a response. I didn't follow-up because one of my friends ended up answering the question for me. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience, and I would...
