8/29/2021 Update I originally gave this JJ's 2 stars when I originally reviewed it. My family waited several weeks and decided to try again. Happy to say they are freaky fast again. And their French bread was as good as it should have been when I tried to order sandwiches in June. So that's good. But I wonder what's up with corporate JJs such that skinny chips are temporarily off the menu. And I'm resigned to no longer ask if I can have sprouts (sigh). But neither of these issues is the fault of this franchise. I'd now recommend this JJ's to a friend.

• 6/5/2021 Original review * The last couple of times here, the drive-up's service has been very slow. We have joked that this JJ's is "Freaky SLOW". But last Saturday's experience was hard to believe. We waited in line at the drive-up at 1:30PM on Saturday and when reaching the order box we were told they have no French bread! Instead we could order an Unwich or choose wheat. Uh, no thanks. Management should have been able to estimate how much bread will be needed the next day. Very disappointing. We used to frequent this place every 2-3 weeks but I doubt if that will continue. Two stars for the quality of the sandwiches if/when they can...

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience at this location. I understand that fast food and retail can be tough environments, and I don’t expect perfection—but this visit felt especially frustrating.

We were spoken to rather rudely at the drive-thru window, with an employee claiming we repeatedly said we were done ordering, when in fact we only said it once. It’s possible there was a miscommunication, but we had two people in the car confirming that we never said we were done and that the employee was just rudely dismissing us during our order. The employee was wearing an AirPod in one ear and a headset in the other, which doesn’t seem very efficient when taking drive thru orders.

What stood out more, though, was the overall environment—loud music, laughing at customers in the background, and a general lack of attentiveness. It gave the impression that the team wasn’t particularly focused on customer service.
